DOH should check if the other 2 new cases from Australia and Taiwan visited GH. Puntahan ng foreigners to para bumili ng pasalubong bago umuwi.

The DOH should start considering testing those with flu symptoms even with no travel history. Also encourage those with mild flu to get tested, like what they are doing in S Korea. Hinintay pa magka severe pneumonia bago pumunta ng hospital.

Not good -- "no travel history".

"The 5th confirmed case is a 62-year old male Filipino with known hypertension and diabetes mellitus, who experienced cough with phlegm last Feb. 25. The patient sought medical consultation at a hospital in Metro Manila last March 1 and was admitted with severe pneumonia. Specimen collected on March 4 tested positive for COVID-19 on March 5. He has no known history of travel outside of the country."

    ^^^

    meron siya symptoms Feb 25

go back 1 to 2 weeks -- yan ang initial infection niya

how many people were in close contact with him BEFORE he was admitted to hospital

    you can't trace them all

just have to wait for those people to show symptoms

and those people who were in close contact also had close contact with other people

Oh they know which hospital it is sir, they know. The lame excuse given by Sec. Duque why they cannot confirm to the DZBB reporter if indeed it was CSMC was --

"because of privacy considerations, we have to respect that, that is enshrined in our constitution"

What a load of crap. Say anything to keep our people from panicking needlessly.

Worst-case scenario, we can expect an exponential rise in cases. BOOM!

Yes I will avoid going there for the meantime, but I've been there a few times the past couple of weeks.

Yes, I will consciously avoid going there myself too, from now on, sir. Unlike you, though, I haven't been there for the longest time. Not to scare you or anything, but just be aware of the symptoms of the virus (cough, fever, chills, etc.) and pray, that you'll be fine.

Are there any DOH guidelines we can refer to in times like these? There should be, right? If there's still none at this time, we are really screwed.

No recommendation to avoid prayer hall'

Health officials refused to disclose the exact name of the prayer hall and released no recommendation to avoid the area.

"The mere presence of one confirmed case does not mean that we need to close down the prayer hall," World Health Organization country representative Dr. Rabindra Abeyasinghe said.

Tanginang WHO ito simula nun umpisa bwisit-bwisit na ako sa representative ng who dito eh.

Patunayan niya na ok pa rin pumunta doon sa prayer hall. Pumunta siya doon tapos doon lang siya buong araw na walang mask.
