Well, it's still speculation at this point whether this is the 4th case -- who I heard was a lawyer, btw. Only DOH can confirm, if they want to, that is. For now, we have to connect the dots ourselves.

Bat ayaw pa sabihin kung eto ung 4th case? Will it cause panic? DOH talaga ginagawang manghuhula mga tao. Dalawa lang naman yan, if not 4th edi may 6th case na.

They cannot trust people to handle the truth. To the government, the people they serve are panicky animals, thus cannot be trusted with the truth. Salute to Deloitte Phils. for thinking otherwise.

They're an international firm. If they were local, would they be as forthcoming? Hmmmm.

The government want people to report if they come into contact with a confirmed case, right? HTF do you do that if you don't even know the name and other circumstances of the the confirmed case in the first place?

Now that Deloitte outed themselves, then the whole building needs to be disinfected. Not to mention all the common fronliners (security guards, janitors, canteen people, etc.) and all other companies' employees that share the building will now have to go under observation for possible infection. It goes without saying that the co-employees of this confirmed case were the first ones informed and they too should be observed.

Oh-uh I think Philippines will be included in the list of banned countries soon. Meron ng 2 supposedly nanggaling dito at nag positive and alam din naman nila na walang proper procedure and govt is taking this issue lightly.

Kaya trying hard DOH now to convinced the world that the two patients didn't contracted it here.

DOH received reports of 3 confirmed COVID-19 cases among foreign nationals who had a history of travel to the Philippines.

The first case is a 38-year-old Taiwanese male who visited the Philippines from February 28 to March 3. He developed abdominal discomfort and diarrhea on March 2, and experienced sore throat, fever, and malaise on March 3. The patient consulted at an outpatient clinic in Taiwan on March 4, and was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on March 5. The onset of symptoms on March 2 points to possible infection before the patient traveled to the Philippines.

The second case is a 44-year-old Japanese male who visited the Philippines from February 21 to 28. Prior to visiting the Philippines, he traveled to Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Japan. He stayed at three different hotels during his visit to Metro Manila. The 44-year-old flew back to Thailand last February 28 and experienced cough, shortness of breath, and fever which began on February 29. The patient consulted at a clinic in Cambodia on March 3 and was referred to a hospital but no tests were done. He flew back to Japan last March 4 and was tested positive for COVID-19. The patient was admitted and is still in isolation at Aichi Prefecture Hospital. The extensive travel history of the patient suggests possible contraction of the disease in another country.

The third case is a female living in Sydney, Australia. The patient attended a wedding in Manila on February 13 and visited Pangasinan. The patient left the country for Sydney on March 2, and was confirmed with COVID-19 by the New South Wales Government on March 3. As for this case, DOH is still verifying information with the International Health Regulation National Focal Point Australia."

Not really. You should hear the people in America complaining that their government is inept and slow to action on this Wuhan virus.

Perwisyo talaga China! If you still think that China didn't do anything wrong by covering up this thing. Please do us all a favor and go there now and stand with them. [emoji40][emoji630]

And they say they are on top of the situation. Yeah, right. They can't even disinfect the Moslem prayer hall correctly. The way they did it, they'll have more infectees soon.
