I cannot understand why we need to know if Delta variant or not. Would the treatment be different if Delta variant? Why not treat all cases as Delta variant? Would the contact tracing be different if Delta variant?

I think no added value of knowing if Delta Variant or not. Unless there will be different treatment if Delta or not.

because our government only follows what's happening abroad

other countries sequence and report variants, syempre gagawin din ng pinas

arte kasi ng developed world di kontento sa positive/negative PCR test

kailangan pa alamin kung anong variant

then their media companies report about variants 24/7 -- every new variant deadlier than the previous

this is the monster they created -- a pandemic of fear

fear spreads faster than the virus

My understanding is because delta is highly transmissible. I read here na the other China virus takes 15 mins to infect while the delta china virus takes only 1 second. If we are aware na delta na yung nakakalat we have to be more careful, I don't even know if it's deadlier. Mas okay nasa kung madali makahawa na less potent e pano kung more potent Kaya tuloy my anxiety level is off the charts again

My problem is I have comorbidity Hindi daw safe sa Delta ang may comorbidity even if vaccinated.

is this rapid test an antibody test, or is it an antigen test?

either way, there are time factors that have to be satisfied, if the test is to be useful.

    kahit pcr baka wala madetect

kailangan retest after 2 or 3 days

kaya may policy dito quarantine agad upon arrival tapos swab after a few days

Ang protocol, rt-pcr ( all expats) 3 days b4 flight valid within 5 days before arrival. Upon arrival rapid test after 6 days another rapid test (antigen).

Kaya pag bosrding pa manila walang security check ng rt pcr , pag ibang bsnsa kailangan pakita negative rt pcr before boarding

    dito palang may butas na

how can a pcr test be valid for X number of days?

you can get infected AFTER the swab

maari noong na-swab ka wala ka pa virus pero a minute or an hour or a day after pwede ka makalanghap ng virus

    -

kaya di matapos itong pandemic kasi madami butas globally

pero hindi talaga ma-seal lahat ng butas

airborne virus, highly contagious, asymptomatic carriers, weeklong incubation period...

    same answer

a pcr test that's several days old doesn't tell you a person's status right at this moment

if someone who got infected 2 day ago boards a plane with a 3 day old PCR test that says he's negative...

meron ka na asymptomatic carrier sa eroplano
