Delta hit Israel in June, just as the country began to reap the benefits of one of the world's fastest vaccine roll-outs.
On July 30, it began administering a third dose of the Pfizer (PFE.N)/BioNtech (22UAy.DE) vaccine to people over 60, the first country to do so. On Thursday it expanded eligibility to 40-year-olds and up whose second dose was given at least 5 months prior, saying the age may drop further.
In the past 10 days, the pandemic is abating among the first age group, more than a million of whom have received a third vaccine dose, according to Israeli health ministry data and scientists interviewed by Reuters.

Totoo ba balita meron pfizer at moderna sa okada for booster shot? 3k daw per shot.
medyo ot. napanood ko sa youtube it took them 6years to develop a vaccine against polio. tapos ganun din 80-90% effective. difference lang wala pang social media noon. hehe. strangely though sabi din polio mysteriously began to disappear after a few years.
di ko maiwasan isipin something can go wrong if we keep using gen1 vax
vaccines using wuhan spike to fight new variants
semi-recognizable sa vaccine-generated antibodies ang spike ng mga bagong variant
a characteristic of dengue is 2nd infection can be worse than the 1st if your 2nd infection involves another variant
your dengue antibodies from 1st infection semi-recognize other variants, attach, but don't neutralize
the antibodies end up enhancing the disease (antibody-dependent enhancement or ADE)
the vaccine acts as the 1st infection
tapos nag booster ka pa using the same gen1 vax... puro wuhan spike antibodies ang katawan mo
when you get infected with a newer variant...
i dunno
theory ko lang

Di ko alam kung side effect ng bakuna yung nangyari sakin last week, pero parang matinding allergic reaction. Although august 4 pa ako huli nagpaturok. Basta nagpuyat lang ako last tuesday mga 4 hours tulog tapos kinabukasan nagka low fever ako at kumalat na rashes all over my body.
yes which is why naisip ko if newer variants of sarscov2 are different enough that antibodies barely recognize, pwede mangyari ung ADE
kasi ung current generation ng spike-base vaccines designed using wuhan spike
iba na spike ng bagong variants
although nakikilala parin ng mga antibodies ang delta, mag e-evolve pa yan
later on di na makilala ang descendants ng delta
tingin ko delikado if we keep using gen1 vax as booster
