    BioNTech-Pfizer say COVID-19 vaccine 100% effective on 12-15 year olds - CNA

With the world scrambling to inoculate, BioNTech said Tuesday it was on track to manufacture 2.5 billion doses of its vaccine this year.

The higher output was driven by the recent launch of a new production site in the German city of Marburg, which is now one of the world's largest mRNA vaccine manufacturing plants, it said.

The vaccine is also being produced at a Pfizer plant in Belgium and at three sites in the United States.

BioNTech said improved efficiency and new cooperation agreements with outside partners had also helped lift its vaccine target, as had the regulatory nod allowing vaccinators to extract six instead of just five doses from a single BioNTech-Pfizer vial.

papano naman kasi, kung mag-break down ang kotse ni duktor?

    just today,
i was looking for a tire shop, as my tire was flat, and i had to do my rounds.
my suki was closed. 'buti na lang, the nearby competition was open for business.

That's a good question doc. Best left for the best and brightest in government to answer.

Btw car accessory shops are not the same as tire or automotive service shops.

if my headlight bulb busts, just as when light is playing tug-o-war with dark, i'll hope that accessories shop in banawe or evangelista has a few bulbs, before i go home to sta rosa.

    sometime during the quarantine,
my relative-doctor's wheel bearing malfunctioned, while he was in that hospital near banawe. it was past 4 pm, on a saturday.
"cow-sin! you broke down at the right time at the right place!"
"hah! i googled! it said, i could still drive it, but it'll be noisy."
    "did you?"
"no. i banged on the metal grill until i got their attention."

any port in a storm, sir.

    OT.

Isn't it all food are essential right? The kagawad might have interpreted it wrongly and to her essential foods are those we eat or drink everyday she did mention milk and probably eggs or even canned goods but other than that they are considered luxury foods. fb_img_1617228367442.jpg

That's the domain of auto supply stores doc. A lot of accessory stores don't even sell headlight bulbs.

Over 100 fully vaccinated people contract COVID-19 in Washington state, officials say

Over 100 people in Washington state have tested positive for COVID-19 more than two weeks after becoming fully vaccinated against the disease, officials said.

However, at least eight people with breakthrough cases have been hospitalized.

The Washington State Department of Health is also investigating two potential breakthrough cases where the individuals died. Both patients were over 80 years old and suffered from underlying health issues.

Large-scale clinical studies found that COVID-19 vaccines reduced the risk of contracting the disease in vaccinated individuals by up to 95%, compared with those who were not vaccinated. However, the vaccines are not 100% effective in preventing infection and thus a small percentage of breakthrough cases can be anticipated, according to the Washington State Department of Health.

"It is important to remember that every vaccine on the market right now prevents severe disease and death in most cases," Shah said. "People should still get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible, and encourage friends, loved ones, and co-workers to do the same."

that's news coz majority of people still don't get it

the vaccine won't make the virus bounce off you like you have a force shield

as if nawala lahat ng ACE2 receptors mo di na kakapit sayo ang virus
