alam ko kahit yung AstraZeneca was supposed to conduct phase III trials dito pero nag withdraw.
Even Gamelaya/Sputnik V vaccine also withdrew Phase III trials.

Can't find the reason in the news why they pulled out of Stage III trials here.

Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, spokesperson of Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH-7), announced on Thursday, February 18, 2021, that they recently found ‘variants of concern’ from COVID-19 patients subjected by their bio-surveillance.

“These two new mutations are now what we call ‘variants under investigation’,” said Loreche in a mix of English and Cebuano.

DOH-7 tagged these mutations as E484K and N501Y.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine was developed with the use of PER.C6, a fetal cell line that originated in an 18-week-old fetus aborted in 1985. According to a June 2020 article in Science, human fetal cells can be used as "miniature 'factories' to generate vast quantities of adenoviruses ... that are used as vehicles to ferry genes from the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19."

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines also make use of human fetal cells, but only during testing of the vaccines' efficacy, a fact that makes them acceptable, according to a lengthy statement from the U.S. bishops issued in December.
