September 19th, 2019 02:52 PM #492unahin muna elevated covered bike lane. Wala kasi pera sa bike kaya wala nagpopropose. Hindi kailangan ng fuel.
Believe me pag may protected bike lane eh pati babae magbibike. Pati mga pasosy metrosecxual bibike na din. These are the masa people. Many will be fit gaganda pwet.
Let us shift from car to other modes of transpo.
Dapat nga mag-initiate ito city of makati ng elevated bike lane. Pagkaliit-liit ng eskinita jan tapos ipipilit kotse. Eh ngayon mas mabenta suv desel eh mas lalo masikip.
imagine caloocan bonifacio shrine all the way to pasay. Tapos makati ayala around central business district and pasay magkakaextension din ng bike lane. Mababawasan sasakay sa bus and jeep. Its better pa you control your movement.

Ganyan katipid. Kaso syempre buwis-buhay.
iba yung market ng bike mga masa.
pero maging protected lang like eleavated, covered, exclusive pati metrosecxual sasali jan. DAmi kaya sa UP diliman pag sunday biking biking kasi nga kahit papano exclusive doon pag linggo. I know its lesiure biking there. For the maintenance and security guard eh 1 to 5peso kada use.

I am not opposed to bike lanes, pero nagtataka din ako sa major roads natin.
Yung pinakasimpleng YIELD or do not block the intersection dapat din talaga strictly enforce, di magawa dito. Kita na nga barado, sige padin siksik. Walang galawan tuloy lahat ng lane.

September 19th, 2019 04:31 PM #499I just don't think bicycle lanes will offset the volume of cars on EDSA. What it'll probably end up doing is offsetting the volume of daily commuters who travels < 10kms one way from using public transportation. But the people using cars will still be using cars...coz they can... they're rich, or they're not in a hurry, or just not fit enough to ride bicycles.

It may be variable speed I think. It's slowly being used on cars that either don't have an ICE, or...
