i do not enjoy adjusting the times of my watches, kasi,
whether because they died from non-use, or because of their inherent mis-accuracy as a mechanical watch.
    la lang. personal quirk.
my current stable of watches on rotation, are electronic.
at 50K, i would expect some measure of accuracy.

But you mentioned you have a sea urchin? How do you feel about that one, considering this SPB143 is a mechanical watch as well?

the sea urchin was given to me as a gift.
i wear it from time to time, adjusting the hands because it had died of non-use in the drawer.
my last mechanical watch purchase was over 5 years ago, an orient star classic. i rarely use it; i sometimes wonder why i purchased it in the first place.

the SPB143 is takaw-tingin... but i would appreciate comments from a local.

May mga cheaper alternative yata sa Orient(Star) with manual winding din, plus 50hr/70hr reserve indicator para madali malaman kung i wind na ulit.

Doc you can buy a watch winder so that your mechanical watches don't lose the set time.
    Problem lang is yung date.

    hmmm....
time to go to molopisya for my end-of-the-day exercise.

    also,
there's this new watch store in sm manila city hall.
it caters to seikos and casios. that's where i saw the SPB143, which piqued my interest. for some reason, it... attracted me.
i imagine, this new store will eat significantly into the businesses of the other independent watch stores in the area.

Guys you might want to save up for that swiss watch you’re eyeing.

The watch bubble is about to burst, maybe it started na nga.

Rolex Daytona panda down to 2M na lang, from a high of 2.9M+ just a couple of months ago.

Its the beginning of the end for the resellers.

That is great news that means other rolex model such as submariner and gmt also will lower its price. I can now buy one.... where did you check the price? or which website?

What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]
