November 12th, 2018 10:55 AM #3132Plus, appreciation of the value of the watch is not only monetary.
Like what doc said, if the watch has been with you for twenty years, it might not have appreciated in peso value. But with all the experience you shared together, i.e. wedding, first born, first house, first car, et. al. For sure the watch has appreciated in value already. Not monetary but sentimental value. Whether it's a Rolex or a Casio or whatever brand you have on your wrist.

I will never sell my seiko turtle.
The first "real" watch i bought with my own money.
P.s. Equal love for quartz watches.
