would like to know if there is anyone here in tsikot knowledgeable with alternative energy like solar or wind energy? ang taas kasi ng electricity namin sa bahay. currently we're consuming 1400kWh. Down from 2000 1 year ago

we have already changed a lot of our lights to LED na.

thinking of installing grid tie solar system. baka meron pwede mag turo.

Do you use those tonner acs at home? Maybe you should get rid of that, there's a fixed rate on top of the consumption pa diba? Then change all refs and acs to inverter

How long will it take to recover the cost of installing these solar panels naman.

You need to know how much you are consuming during daytime. Jan papasok ang grid tie system. Micro Gti are pretty much plug and play, unlike ng malalaki na grid tie inverters na high voltage ang gamit.

Either mag enphase gti ka which is a us brand or china gti na lesser efficiency pero ok na din kung maliit lang system mo.

Just dont go past your daytime consumption kundi mag export ka at i dagdag din sa bill mo yon.

Grid tie system are legal, you just need to apply for net metering kung gusto mo palitan ng meter na umaatras ang current meter mo.

Nagkalat sa Raon ang China made solar panels, charge controller, inverter, VRLA battery. Madali lang naman i DIY. I have that in the farm for night lightning, and battery lang ang maintenance..

If you run water heater, meron solar heaters parang radiator in the roof..

Try to ask around BP Solar and Shell House, parang may program sila sa rural electrification wind+solar yata yun under greenpeace, baka maka discount ka kung under NGO. Mas OK quality nung mga euro made.

thats what I heard also. but the thing is, mali placement ng aircon namin sa bahay. usually nasa taas ang aircon near the ceiling, but yung sa amin, near the floor yung butas ng window type ac namin. i dont know bakit ganun design ng architect/engineer noon. so problem yung wiring/power supply for the inverter split type aircon.

kung gabi ang big consumption mo, look at meralco's time of use scheme. There is a thread here about it somewhere. Just search for it. Will help you cut down on your cost.

From start fullpower 1100w, after 3 hrs 800w then in 4 hrs around 400w na lang, hanggang kinabukasan na yan.

i guess inverter aircon muna gawin namin. just have to check kung pano ba ikakabit.

if hindi ako mag net metering, i guess pwede din gti system + time of use.

To add, just ask your appliance store to send an installer to survey your home. They would advise you about the correct hp for the aircon and the wiring/ power supply requirements.

Yung aircon that looks like a refrigerator. If you have centralized heating that consumes a lot as well. My Dad had ours removed. Now we only use individual shower heaters.

Maybe it would be less of a hassle to have all your AC replaced with inverter muna?

naka auto synchronize ba phase?

Ang purpose nito ay to vent the warm air inside the house, and in the process create negative pressure to pull cold air in from the ground floor windows or door openings.

OT: Saan ba best i position ang window type aircon? Taas, middle or baba ng wall?
