I would wear a homage but not a fake one. There are a lot of good homages for a really good price.

Take a look at this DJ homage. It cones with a Sapphire crystal, a reliable Seiko NH35 automatic movement, and it’s less than 5k.

I know something for less than 5k. It comes with a Sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, and a Seiko NH35 movement (hacks and winds).

the flute-ing has been a common watch design since the early 60s.

    as i recall,
sandoz and bulova and other brands also used it in their rolexoid models.

flutes originated with a more utilitarian use than just aesthetics.

My weekend go-to watch is my Casio GShock Gravity Master. It has an analog dial with a whole bunch of features - alarm, second time zone, world time select, stop watch, compass, shock resistant, and water resistant. Got it for $100 when I went to the US in 2019.

why are the metal bracelets of some seiko models, designed for difficulty in adjusting to the right size wrist?
there are only two sets of adjustable holes. kung mamalasin, one will miss out by 1/3 length of a link...
sana naman ay ginawa nilang three pairs of adjusting holes.

You can always put on a different strap - leather, nylon, or fluorine rubber.

The steel bracelets on the Prospex models are quite good. Most even have the Seiko-specific divers extension.

    the thought crossed me.
i have a rarely-worn seiko. i am thinking of swapping its easier-to-adjust bracelet...

Now that's a real man's watch. And i think their promaster series isn't for everyone since they tend to be on the larger side.

Also i'm told it's complicated to set especially if its radio controlled feature isn't working where you're at. Ika nga nila, "it's a watch made by smart people for smart people".

^Yea, it’s a pilot watch so it tends to wear big (45mm).But due to its short lug to lug length, it’s wearable on my 6.75” wrist.

As for the atomic signal, I could get it synced every night anywhere in my house, even while wearing it.

And yes, it took me some time to master the settings. Thanks to yt! [emoji3]

there are independent stores inside the mall.
however, i did not notice how extensive their collection of MKs, is.
citizen watch emporium in sm manila city hall,
the prestige watch stores that are present in a number of SMs,
    multi-time in SM north edsa,
a few more stores in molopisya,
and hey! try SM north edsa. they have a big watches dept.

i haven't gone to avenida rizal in ages...

    errr,
    might i inquire,
    why MK ?

The store you mentioned doesn't carry MK watches. Because that is what is "in" and girls like MK watches probably they see it in vlogs MK watches have this distinct 3 dial in the watch face. I have seen numerous fake MK watches that's why I'm looking for legit watch dealers or online sellers.

What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]
