i think seiko is trying to pump up their prices too by reviving discontinued watches and churning them up again in a very controlled and strict run.

another way seiko is rising their prices (in my view) is via all the limited edition variants they come up with. collectors feel they are duty bound to pay premium on them.

hindi ba parang ang hirap bumili ng genuine g-shock these days? I can’t differentiate the original from the oem/class aaa+ unless bibili sa official dealers. even then parang hindi pa din ako comfortable.

just this year I went to the watch section of landmark to replace the battery of my g shock. hesitant ito palitan ng technician at sabi pa sa official store daw pumunta. he finally relented when I said na hindi ako magcclaim ng warranty kapag nalublob sa tubig yung relo.

Dame nga nyan, one time asa meeting ako yung katabi ko tinanong ako magkano bili ko.

Then sinabi ko price, natawa saken kase binilhan niya daw husband din niya same model / look parang 75% off nung amount na binayad ko.

Sabe ko ahh fake yung binili mo, hindi daw!

Ah okay hindi na ako nakipag talo.

the official outlets won't dare sell us copies. heh heh.
they don't even replace batteries! they do collect your watch, and send them off to the casio battery-changing shop... wherever that is.
