    price check - I just went to hidalgo yesterday and the Canon 400D DSLR costs P37,500 at Henry's Photo (body+lens kit).

    My friend got a Canon A710IS from Henry's for P13,500 yesterday.

    There shouldn't be brand new D50/D70s anymore, they're both discontinued, if meron, old stock na yun... 90K for a D70 is insane hehe.

    sa quiapo.... baba ka ng quiapo tapos tanong mo sa pulis na nakatayo dun kung san ang hidalgo... lakarin mo hanggang dulo ng hidalgo... nasa left side....

    tawag ka muna to confirm kung may stock...

    Yan ba ang latest from Samsung? Magkano? Ok ba siya compared sa leading brands na Nikon or Canon?

    GT, canon a710is kasi pocketble pa siya... saka if ever mag dslr ako maganda ang combi ng DSLR plus a710...somehow pwede mo pang i conceal ang a710...

    ok din ang s3 kaso bulky na rin ng kaunti....

    ot : may mga nacoconcious kase whenever i start pointing my dslr... hehehe! camera shy? yun t3 ko naman kelangan kasama pa yun cradle para magamit ang tripod... im check out that a710

    maganda na ba yung mga nasa price range na 30 to 40k? ano brand at model kaya?

    ipon muna ako hehehe , nedyo mabigat sa bulsa eh... sa malls sana ok may zero interest, pero compared sa hidalgo mas malaki masesave kaya lang cash yata lahat duon

    DSLR? Only the D40 kit would fit that budget... Unless you're willing to go 2nd hand.

    Olympus E330/500 are good choices as well, killer kit lenses. But value wise, the D40 is hard to beat.

    But if you'll just use a DSLR as a regular point and shoot cam, a DSLR would be a waste of space and money.

    kit na ba yun 27500 sa hidalgo? o body lang?

    dont want to sound like a fan boy... but im liking the nikon p5000... pwede kayang gamitin dito yun flash nun slr ko? (not that i have one but plannin to have one soon...)

    Accdg to columbia digital a d40kit goes for 34k plus some freebies and pwede 12 mos 0% daw with a citibank cc.

    Now this is a serious piece of glass!!!!!

    I've been using my 18-200 VR lens for a year and a half now and it has been serving me very very well... Can take pics at 1/20 sec hand held with minimal blur. In fact, it has never left my D70s!!!

    It's only problem is vignetting at full aperture which is most noticeable when taking under bright light but is easily overcome by coming down a f-stop or two...

    This lens is sooo good there's still a waiting line to buy it in Adorama...
