    Realize mistake?

Some people just don't get it

There's so much hatred towards the Aquinos and what they represent (elitist rule) that people are willing to tolerate du30 and all his flaws

The flaws are obvious but people are willing to overlook them

Huwag lang bumalik sa kapangyarihan ang mga Aquino and their kind

Like many Americans are willing to tolerate Trump huwag lang maging presidente si Clinton which will be 4 more years of Obama liberal policy

I did realized my mistake. I voted for the man. I admit nabenta ako sa kulambo, jetski at taxi driver sa gabi .

Kidding aside, I realized my mistake but I cant blame myself for making that choice. For one, he is the best choice among the candidates back then. Poe is hilaw and untested, Binay is Binay, Mar is Mar - you know what these guys did back then. So I choose DU30.

We can see that majority of Pinoy voters are more of fanatics or crowd than thinking and reasoning beings. I voted for the man, but that doesnt mean I wont go against his ways when my judgement says its wrong. Support for the president does not mean to blindly follow someone and never contest or go against or criticize.

I voted for the man, and I never felt obliged to defend him and his policies especially when it goes against my principle.

Can't believe how fanatics defend the indefensible, to the point that they become worse than a stupid Yellow tard. Way worse.

    Agree.

Hatred on yellow/Aquino/Elite/Right are as seasonal as hatred on Marcos/authoritarian/Left. DU30 just rode the tide or season - he and his adviser knew that hatred against Aquino is hinog na, and that they can use it to fuel their ambitions.

It was good tactic. Doing the opposite of what the leading party is doing. LP got makinarya/ads/funds, PDP used free social media as main platform. LP has a lot of choices on whos who, they are fighting for every slot or position, while DU30 keeps on saying he would not run (of course paper works are on their way as he says this and that).

They projected DU30 as a poor fellow, with simple beginnings. Someone who hates corruption, drugs and criminality -- something Aquino failed to improve on. It generates more and more traction.

During debates, he even supported and backed his rivals, except only for LP (roxas) - he did not hit Binay directly, nor Poe. He even says Miriam is the best president we can ever have -- this generates following. good tactic, it may have seemed Poe, Binay and Miriam is with Du30 VS Roxas.

These tactics are planned out, well calculated tactics. They came to a fist fight with a nuke on their tow.

Hayy...in 40+ years of recent history, we are a country of partisan politics and it is hurting the way we deal with the challenges facing our nation as a whole.

I would applaud the person or group who would rally every one, all united in one thought of moving our backward-thinking culture forward into the future.

They're now working towards decentralizing power

Imperial manila was in their crosshair from the beginning

They're not clueless idiots who suddenly found themselves in power and didn't know what to do

There are grand plans and we're seeing their people implementing

The high popularity rating serves as a buffer

Allowing them to make big changes to the system with resistance only coming from the opposition that doesn't have enough influence to cause trouble on the streets

^^^ Isama mo na lahat ng congressmen, senators, and top government officials sa audit na yan. The President may have some secrets but there are also big fishes that need to be accounted for their questionable wealth.

Isama na rin yung mga manyak na mga politicians at police/military officials who have had a history of ***ual delinquencies and offences.

    and that will stick?

    people will simply overlook that

like everyone knows Trump is a ***ual harrasser

a lot of women have accused him of that but it doesn't stick

other powerful men in the US who were accused of ***ual harrasment fall from grace

    not Trump

coz people are willing to overlook that

people will take a foul-mouth, misogynist Du30 over anyone identified with the Aquinos

Federalism is a BIG MISTAKE for the philippines

While successful federal system are huge independent states that UNITED together..philippine version is DISINTEGRATING the country before UNITING as a federal govt

Theres still a CENTRAL government its only known as the FEDERAL government

There are successful federation (US, canada, australia, EU, UK, malaysia) as there are failed federation (Yugoslavia, USSR). Theres only one reason federalism failed, the federal government went bankrupt

For dutertes federalism to succeed he needs plenty of money..where will duterte get the money to federate when the republic is down with DEBT accumulated during marcos?

federalism big mistake or not, the powers-that-be from the south wanna take power away from imperial manila plain and simple

this du30 era... this is their opening... their golden opportunity

a once in a lifetime chance to radically change things

they know they probably won't get another chance

    hence the determination

Under a federal government manila will still be the seat of the central government

If the proponents of federalism choose to move the seat of govt to another location, they better come prepared with a huge fund to put that into reality. Funds to finance the infrastructure in place to the new location of the federal govt

The worst case scenario is a failed federal government that will disintegrate the republic for good like yugoslavia because federalism will subject the republics current national treasury into so much strain it will go bankrupt

It will not just be the territory that they will subdivide, they will also partake the national treasury.

Federalism can build a strong nation but it can also disintegrate a nation

With the current crop of leaders at the helm, federalism isnt a good move

Changing the government to federal can give an opportuniy for the corrupt leaders to perpetuate themselves into power like marcos did. It can also open an opportunity for corrupt leaders like glory to usurp and return to power

I read in inquirer.net that BIR is removing the special tax exemption of BPO’s. This could only spell disaster as these companies might pull out there businesses elsewhere..

As per the article, new companies planning to setup shop here cannot avail of such a perk anymore. Also, companies under ROHQ status prior to 2018 can keep their preferential tax rates.

It does not apply specifically to BPOs. There are other industries who qualify under the ROHQ preferential tax rate.
