i'm just curious, how much does should a bomb-sniffing dog cost?

Whatever the amount, unless those dogs can sniff out drugs as well, it seems way out of line with this admin's drug war.

The price is just about right if they can defend their partner and sniff out drugs like they are supposed to be trained for.

The public sector (govt) is really bad at maintenance. Look at the govt buildings & equipment. Same fate will happen to those poor dogs.

The usual case...well, if you don't know, then perhaps you were born yesterday.

Part of me wishes that he carries this threat out so that more people will now join mass actions against his government.

Sadly, i personally feel that young men and women join the socialist ranks usually out of a lack of proper guidance and support on their cause. I do know of some people who had leanings to be a communist out of their drive to help improve the plight of many Filipinos and with proper guidance became good Filipino citizens; In the case of one person i knew personally, the Jesuits took notice of him as a young man, gave him a scholarship, and molded him into a figure who was able to contribute well to the Philippines for many years in the corporate, government, and civil society sectors.

It may have been different back in the Marcos era where even moderates such as Edjop were pushed to head for the hills.
