Most likely...none of them are. They have their own vested interests, the same way PH has vested interests. The only problem is that we are a weak nation, so we get the raw end of the deal....and i don't see this changing if we do turn out backs to the US/EU and run to China/Russia.

Why pick one poison over the other? Because China/Russia will never call him out on EJKs...kasi sila ganun din ang style.

Are we really getting a very raw deal with our relations with the US/EU? Please expound. Thanks

Meron punch line. Meron but... Dapat daw pwede rin Siya magtanong Doon sa mga pupunta, invited daw lahat, para makita paano na lalampasuhin mga EU and UN, ang first question daw niya what's the name of the first person I killed... napagaling na presidente.

If you're a senator giving out your opinion against matobato, you're not being partisan just airing out your observation. If youre a senator and you find him credible. You have no place in the Senate, you've already tainted your impartiality

So, Jaybee Sebastian was/is a government asset. Will he be called upon to testify on the Lower House hearing? Sen. De Lima better have documents to support this.
I would like to know if they have supporting documents for his "asset" status.

    That's a very bold claim.

Yup. Digong is right in that a dictator can improve the economy. But only with stability. What is happening now is the opposite of stability, where Digong himself and his flip-flopping is adding to economic uncertainty.

Ongpin has been replaced at Philweb by Greggy Araneta III, Marcos' son-in-law.

    Mission accomplished. Change game.

To be fair... he did say that he wanted the US special forces our of Mindanao. That's a very specific statement that people are over-generalizing.

He does have a point. It is in the interest of the Philippines to work on its own internal security, and having no foreign forces around helps in the peace process.

Oo nga. Sige... let's hear the answer to that.

And let's hear how Russia hasn't basically screwed over everyone else and how even our non-US allied neighbors want to become China's new pet dog.

Duterte takes everything personally. His stance on issues seem wholly influenced by personal experience, connections and beliefs.

He's a man who wears his heart on his sleeve... which is why people love him. Unfortunately, it's a very fickle heart.

IMHO they are not doing enough to help us on the WPS issue but China and Russia are worse. China is already encroaching on our territory. What makes this admin think they will treat us better if we consider them allies? Russia is with China because they are common enemies of the U.S.

I nearly laughed out loud when I read the news that they were approaching Russia to help us with our external security.

    -

Right as Russia is in the middle of joint patrol exercises with China.

Obviously the commies haven't waken up from their dreamworld...

Reds push free land distribution, govt control of business | ABS-CBN News

The National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) wants to "nationalize" 19 industries including oil, steel and mining, saying this will result in more jobs and economic development.

Under the NDFP's proposed agreement drafted in 1998, utilities such as power, communications, water and mass transportation will be publicly owned.
It also calls for a "genuine" land reform program where land distribution is free. At present, beneficiaries are required to pay amortization.

Before we extol the virtues of Russian equipment, it would be wise to bear in mind that for every type of plane and tank Russia (and the former USSR) manufactures, they actually make 2 variants. An expensive but fully capable version equal if not better than ita western equivalent (usually given to reliable allies like those in Europe) and a cheaper less capable version for export (for less reliable allies and buffoons like those in Africa and the Middle East). Thats why we sometimes hear lopsided kill ratios between Israel vs Syria/Egypt or US vs Libya/Iraq.
