Our economy is one of the brightest in the world. Definitely not the strongest. Fundamentals remain stable imo. Tanking? We're not like Greece.

    Look at our awesome 6%

Also with respect, I understand how elections work and you just missed the point. The point is there are much more people who voted against du30 being president. You can't simply ignore the public sentiment of the majority. He is president of all 100M+ Filipinos living here and abroad. He should act like it. Not simply preach to the choir of 16M. If we had another election today I'm pretty sure that 16M would be much much smaller now, with the people knowing what he is really like.

I share your joy in our current growth rate bro. That 6% is of course the past administration's (warts and all) work. Question is if it will stay that way after a year into this presidency. That will largely depend on the changes made by the current admin.

Ganito lang kasi yan eh, without Duterte, walang De Lima. She made a name just because of her tirades against Duterte. Nothing more, ano ginawa nya sa bayan? Wala!

Without De Lima, the Duterte name has been well-known even when he was Mayor. And he and Davao are recognized by Singapore, Japan, US.

    ---

Parang Ninoy, without Marcos, walang Ninoy. Because all he did was to piggyback on Marcos' popularity

Without Ninoy, Marcos stood on his own both here and abroad.

So pag pumalpak si Du30, we only but to blame those who did not support him. Simple as that. Kasi kami even though Du30 is portrayed as a bad leader, we still support him. There's no other way for a country to move forward if both subjects and the leader are as one, wala ng outside 3rd party na kelangan pa isama sa equation

Spot on OB. Birds of the same feather flock together. Like your president you are just full of hot air and no solid evidence to support your egotistic claims and self-praising opinions.

And the 6% is because of Duterte's administration? Think again.

I burned the flag of Singapore: 10 of Philippine's Duterte's most undiplomatic remarks | AsiaOne
    Sept. 7, 2016

"I burned the flag of Singapore. I said: 'F*** you ... You are a garrison pretending to be a country.'" - Mr Duterte in a November speech, recalling how in 1995 he burned a Singapore flag to protest at the execution of a Filipina maid in the city-state.
    Well-known sa Singapore.

This rich businessman who started his own company and who has been working all his life decided it was time to retire, thinking he had made tons of money, more than enough to sustain him and his wife, his children, and even his children's children.

Besides, he's old anyway, he's tired, time to pass on the day to day management of the various businesses to his 2 sons. And even if his two sons somehow prove to be not as business-savvy as he was, no way, individually or together, could they squander all that money, or run the company to the ground -- at least not at the same time, or at least not in his lifetime -- or so he thought.

    How completely wrong he was.

In less than 3 years, all that money he was counting on on to sustain three generations, and which took him a lifetime to build up, vanished in bad business deals, bad business decisions, etc. etc. Long story short, he got the shock of his life, that he had to make the difficult decision to come out of retirement and take over the helm again and steer the company back on track.

    True story.

baka nakarma sya. all that time hoarding that money for his family, andame nya siguro shinort-change like employees, customers, partners.

It happens you know. I know a lot of this kind. kunwari, super kelangan i-praise coz they build a company from the ground up. The question is ano ginawa mo sa mga tumulong sa yo all these years. if you bought Fortuners and Monteros, but your employees nag-AUV express or say Vios lang. may bawi yan

intelligence is never the measure of of a true human being. it's the attitude. Attitude can only be considered successful with the amount of people supporting you later in life. yumaman ka nga, nag-retire ka sa beach, nakahiga all day, question is sino kasama mo sa beach, family mo lang? mas ok na ako dun sa leader /businessmen who uplifted so many other lives/families other than his own

Oh man! PNoy is laughing somewhere right now.

Stop talking Du30. Stop triggering him as well.

Now, I am wondering if he improves once EJK hearings stop as well.

it's not as if people will stop making money because of his foul - mouth. Those foreign investors who pull out are being duped by investors who put in. Same as those who pull-out money from local stocks will only have lost opportunity for those who don't care.

tigilan nyo na nga yan, kesyo babagsak ang ekonomiyl ek-ek. we're not born yesterday. I have long studied the 2008 financial crisis. ang napansin ko lang unang nag-panic yun ang bumagsak ... so if the yellowtards are panicking, go ahead pull out your money and watch us make money from those opportunities you threw away lol. and if you wanna leave the Phils. go ahead, go to America while all other Americans are seeing /envying that the flow of money is in Asia.

how can one foresee an imminent collapse when oil is ridiculously low. all the superpowers military are here in our region. why would they send their troops kung wala sila nakikitang pera dito.

to pro Duts and Du30 fans, let them leave, pull-out get scared. after they gone, we celebrate.
