Tor, it looks like our President has mistaken on General Tinio. What can you say about this?
Don't tell me he was only joking.Ex-PDEA chief clears PNP exec http://inquirermobile.net/inqsnap/micro/70296
Multiple choice (tard's response):
1. He admitted receiving payola money. Guilty as hell.
2. The mistahs are covering up for him.
3. Santiago is a drug lord protector as well.
4. Spin by the yellow media.
5. Duts will never commit a mistake. It is the people surrounding him who gave him wrong information.
6. Cricket sound

& accdg to radio reports, he was handcuffed at the back. pano mang-aagaw yun.
sabi ng pnp, hinigaan daw nya yung isang pulis para agawin yung baril. pinutukan na sya. pano ka mang-aagaw ng baril kung ang posas mo nsa likod. hihiga ka para agawin yung baril ng escort mo?
malabo yan.
That is what we get if we have a trigger-happy president who condones extra-judicial killing and even offers rewards. Cops no longer have second thoughts of killing the suspect.

cops are becoming overly zealous.
a cop, whose retirement is just around the corner, decided to storm my uncle's residence with two police vehicles and his buddies. and they did it without any search warrant. the cop then went ahead to threaten my uncle by demanding that he undergo drug test or else he can't guarantee the safety of my uncle's family before sun down.
luckily for my uncle, his brother in law happens to be police director of the province. the cop got reported and it turns out, my uncle wasn't his only extortion victim.
the cop then apologized, said it was only a joke, and they're friends over the phone. apparently, the cop didn't show up when he was ordered to report to them.

Proof that may link Pagdilao, Tinio to drug trade found - The Standard
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) finds evidence that may prove the alleged illegal drug links of Former PNP National Capital Region Director Joel Pagdilao and Former Quezon City Police Director Edgardo Tinio.
Napolcom Vice Chairman Rogelio Casurao says, the two police generals have been informed of the existence of the alleged piece of documentary evidence.
They have until Tuesday to comment on this.
Casurao also says, they are still collating the evidence against Police General Bernardo Diaz.
Pagdilao, Tinio and Diaz were among the five generals tagged by President Duterte as protectors of drug lords.
The two other police generals named were Marcelo Garbo and Vicente Loot.

'Shoot them' if Leyte mayor, son resist arrest – Duterte
Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr and his son Kerwin Espinosa are suspected of involvement in illegal drug trafficking. They have 24 hours to surrender.
MANILA, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte called on the mayor of Albuera town in Leyte and the latter's son to surrender to government forces within 24 hours or face the consequences of being linked to the illegal drugs trade.
Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr and his son Kerwin Espinosa are suspected of involvement in illegal drug trafficking and coddling drug lords, according to a Malacañang press release on Monday, August 1.
If Espinosa and his son do not surrender by the deadline, they will be hunted down by law enforcers. If they are found and they resist arrest, police have been ordered to "shoot on sight," said the Palace.
"An order of 'shoot on sight' will be given if they resist and endanger the lives of arresting police officers," reads the statement.
Two bodyguards and 3 employees of Mayor Espinosa were arrested on Thursday, July 28, during a buy-bust operation, where police found P1.9 million worth of shabu in a tennis court near Espinosa's house, according to an Inquirer report.
natatandaan ko ito
Regarding the Alabang Boys:
2 ‘Alabang Boys’ acquitted
“Alabang Boys” acquitted – Are you surprised?Santiago said he respected the decision and acknowledged “there’s nothing we can do about it anymore.”
“We’re convinced they were doing something [illegal], so now it’s on their conscience,” Santiago said in a phone interview. He said PDEA’s legal team and the prosecutors had built a strong case against the defendants.
In the Alabang Boys case, it’s interesting to note that neither Major Marcelino – the team leader of the undercover agents – nor his superior, PDEA chief Santiago, was called to testify during the trial.
It seems that the Alabang Boys got off on technicalities. The prosecution blamed PDEA/Santiago for not following proper procedure, PDEA/Santiago blamed the prosecutors for ignoring key evidence.

Duterte to name 27 local execs with suspected drug links
MANILA, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte is set to reveal the names of 27 local officials suspected of links to the drug trade, Chief Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo said on Tuesday, August 2.
"My God, you will be shocked," Panelo told reporters in an interview at the Palace press area, referring to the President's list culled from intelligence reports.
He said the President told him that the revelation would be made “either tonight or tomorrow.”
Panelo declined to give details of the local officials, but said in Filipino that “they are all from the provinces, some with prominent names.”
“Basta ang sabi ni Presidente, ‘Kilala ko ito pero (The President said, ‘I know them but) I have a duty to serve and protect the [people],” the Palace official said.
When asked, Panelo said that these officials will take the same route as the active and retired police generals that the President had earlier accused of drug links, referring to an investigation of the allegations.
On Monday, Duterte called on Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr of Albuera town in Leyte and his son, Kerwin, to surrender to government forces within 24 hours or face the consequences of being linked to the illegal drugs trade. Both are suspected of involvement in illegal drug trafficking and coddling drug lords.
Magandang balita yan. Diretso na sa kulongan yan at sampahan ng kasong non bailable.
