So if the President orders it no need for warrants?

I saw on TV yesterday bato's press conference. I observe that almost every minute he uttered the word "patayin," "patay," "pinatay." Like, "patayin namin anak mo ha kung ayaw mag surrender," "patay ka sa akin meyor kung nagsinungaling ka!"

Had Bato not wearing a uniform or that he was not the CPNP, he surely sounded or even looked like criminal himself.

    Tor, what do you think?

OB, hindi ka naman bomoto eh kasi alien ka.

The kind of tactic will only scare the low life addicts and pushers and unfortunately the innocents as well. The big fish? They will just use their money to silence the government official or hire an assassin to do the job.

With the lack of due process, you get the feeling it's only a matter of time before someone starts assassinating the assassins. If the government can hire vigilante groups, so can drug lords. Money talks.

    I agree.

DDS was effective in Davao City because the President had once lorded over DC for quite sometime, interspersed with his daughter's terms. There was a sustained violent effort to eradicate the drug menace.

Now, the President has only a term with no reelection, after six years the possibility is very high that there will be a huge backlash of this purging. Those who are involved with the killings now will be perfect targets of revenge tomorrow, either from the families who lost their loved ones or from the drug syndicates themselves.

    The killing will not stop.

600 alleged summary killings in July alone, say PNP sources–Lacson

“Napagalaman ko from well-informed sources sa loob ng PNP mismo, ang bilang nila 600 and they are trying to validate the 600 killings na summary killings talaga, dahil hindi police operations,” he told Senate reporters.
Let's not forget the so called "Nang laban" cases.

Pretty soon we will become the murder capital of Southeast Asia. Just like how Davao become the murder capital of the Philippines.

Reminds me of someone trying to catch a lizard by the tail. Sure, you get the tail. But, the rest of the lizard gets away and grows a new tail in the process.

Even if they're just b.s. positions, they still receive compensation. Huwag naman sana gamitin ang taxes natin na pambayad utang na loob.

Expect the ‘best, brightest’ in Duterte cabinet, says Cayetano | Inquirer News

baka ang argument is that those are not cabinet positions (maybe a different and exciting position)
