very normal bro lalo kapag kumambyo ka ng atras habang gumgalaw pa ng paabante ang van, tyamba pag di rumaganot. but on full stop dapat smooth ang reverse shifting though sumabit minsan dahil di nadepress ng maayos ang clutch pedal. ang ibig ko sabihin is kung maayus pa ang clutch assy ng van mo. you can simply test your clutch on humps...full stop ka before humps then shift to 1st gear...abante ka..pag hindi namatay at tumataas na rpm ng engine mo na hindi ka na nakatapak sa clutch pedal pero di ka makaahon sa hump, slide na clutch mo...dumudulas na...otherwise, good pa sya. about sa air filter, hind mo masyado mararamdaman ang performance unless racer ang van mo..meaning OEM or stock filter can handle your engine air intake demand even on redline, pero maganda syempre kasi mas matagal palitan, pwede linisin ng maraming ulit. safe driving pre.
nga pala, pag sumasabit na shifting mo kahit sa anong gear..you may have a leaky clutch cylinder either master or slave..internal or external.

^^^ Bro.,- ang tinatanong mo ba ay clutch o clutch fan? Magkaiba kasi ito....
Iyong clutch,- I think nasagot ko na earlier,- see my answer last June8 to your earlier query.
Iyong clutch fan,- while the engine is running,- lift your front seat to expose the engine... Our clutch fan is directly driven by the engine... Turn the engine off and observe the fan. It should stop almost immediately as the engine turns off... If the fan keeps on turning a few rounds before stopping, then you most probably have a sliding clutch fan... A sliding clutch fan manifests itself when you're caught in traffic and the engine temperature rises abnormally, because the fan does not turn as fast as the engine....
(Iyong iba, gumagamit ng tsinelas to attempt to "stop" the fan while the engine is running,- dapat hindi mo mapigil, else you have a sliding clutch fan... I haven't tried this though at hindi ako bihasa rito....)

ahh so problem din pala ng van ko yon any way san kaya ako makakabili ng ganito kasi nag tanong kami hindi daw to pwede i repair.dapat daw bibili ng bago..san po kaya ako makakabili ng ganto? im from laspinas po...
and hirap ng vanette kasi tuwing pupunta kami sa cavite in naic dadaan kami sa rough road bumabara yung mga dahon sa radiator thats why pag uwi namin mag papabomba muna ako ng ilalim para hindi mag over heat...

I just moved near Masinag, along Marcos Highway and I would like to ask for a reasonable and reputable (quality and price wise) parts for my Vanette and a very good and reliable mechanic as well. I need to relocate the condenser to cure the overheating, change to 3-4 rows of radiator, 8 blade fan with a non sealed type clutch, an auxialiary fan for the condenser if ever relocated below the passenger seat, as I've read it here, correct? The battery and the expansion tank is located in here as well, can anybody post me a picture how'd they'd done yours? Can anyone please give me a name, contact number address and number for the shop and mechanic. Thanks in advance and have a great day to you all.
I just have my fuse box replaced to a generic one set me back 490 for the parts and labor 700. The original one from Nissan will set you back around 1,500. All the intermittent problems with the head lights coming on and off, signal lights and hazards not working had been corrected.
Now I am looking to lift the front side due to it's sagging and looks like it will have a problem soon. Will just be changing to gas shocks will correct the problem or any suggextions to lift the fron suspension will be highly appreciated. More power and God bless us all.
guys ask lang po...i realized na pag umaandar yung engine ko bumubula yung tubig kahit hindi over heatplease help naman po tama lang po ba yun?
lalo na pag nakapatay engine ko tapos pag start tumatalsik yung tubig and may leak na din yung engine ko san po ako makakakuha ng parts neto

^^^Bro., ang alam ko, originally, isa lang ang aux fan ng vanette... Ito iyong nakahiga na nasa ibabaw ng isa nating condenser.... Ang pangalawang condenser ay nasa unahan ng ating radiator at wala itong aux fan. Ang nagpapalamig lang sa radiator at pangalawang condenser ay ang clutch fan na directly driven ng makina....
Modified na siguro ang Vanette mo... Malamang inilipat ng puwesto ang second condenser at nilagyan na sarili niyang aux fan.... Saan mo ito ipinuwesto?

sa mga auto supply meron yan.. magandang brand is gawa ng federal mogul..pero ok din siguro yung iba. ganyan kasi gamit ko..hindi ko gaanong maintindihan yung tanong mo about sa rad cap..rad cap ba mismo o yung pinagkakabitan ng takip? anyway, visually malalaman mo na agad kung sira na. either may punit, crack (source of coolant leak)or kung sa rad cap-stuckup na yung mga valve na dinadrive ng mga spring..
sir di ko lang alam kung nilipat pero meron syang condenser sa passengers side na nakahiga then may auxillary fan sya and sa may unahan banda ng radiator may nakahiga din dun na condenser with fan and yung sa radiator ko may auxillary fan din
hehehe...sa lolo ko pa kasi itong van na to sinetup ko lang onti..love this van since kinder ako hatid sundo na ako neto

ang takip ng rad ay bakal/lata(between 2 radiator hoses) ang pinagkakabitan. siguro yung coolant reservoir ang sinsabi mo..yung nasa tabi ng battery, plastik yun..yun ba yun?
about head gasket, pwedeng yun lang or pwedeng set(overhauling gasket tawag sa auto supply). i suggest you buy the set kasi halos baklas mo na yung top and bottom ng engine mo nyan pag nagpalit ka ng head gasket lang..madugo yan pre..hehe..nagawa ko na yan..unless maingatan mo na di maalis sa sprockets yung timing chain or least is di mawala sa timing during disassembly. kya kung may pagagawa or papapalitan ka pang ibang parts sa engine mo, pagawa mo na para 1 time baklasan lang. good luck.
