    ^^^ Baka mayroong leak ang iyong 'vacuum line' kaya ka namamatayan ng makina....Have it checked.... Also, typical sa Vanette na patayin ang makina lalo na kung nanggaling sa cold start.....At, hardstarting din minsan,- kaya in my case, I step on the clutch when starting it to remove some "loads"...

    Also, ang alam ko, hindi advisable ang Shell E10 sa ating ride.... Dapat walang ethanol content ang ating fuel dahil karburador pa tayo... Kaya ako, hindi sa Shell nagpapa-gas ng Vanette dahil lahat ng fuel variants nila ay ethanol-blended... I gas up either at Caltex with their Silver or Gold or Petron with their XCS or Blaze.....

    cvt, thanks for the info..ok, i-double check ko n rin vacuum lines ko. habang ginagawa ko kasi yung carb tiningnan ko na physicaly yung vacuum hoses and connections for possible detachment, ok naman e. saka may nakakabit akong digital vacuum sensor s intake manifold eh. reading ko is 40+ Hg (not very sure about the unit pero yung number is something like that) then nag zezero yung pag nag accelerate or full throttle (no vacuum) then goes up to 60+ once nagdecelerate..kya i didnt suspect for vaccum leaks anymore, modification ko yung for controlling idle shutoff solenoid pra walang gas na hihigupin pag nag decelerate...anyway i-check ko na rin ulit pra sigurado. with regards to E10, bukas papalitan ko na ng premium para ma rule out ko na yung gas. balita ko nagkakaubusan na ng premium gasoline...totoo ba?

    Bro.,- lahat ng gasolina ng Shell,- Unleaded, Premium at V-Power,- may halong 10% ethanol na.... Na confirm ko ito sa Shell Tech Support nila. Ang alam ko, hindi sila pupuwede sa ating Vanette.

    Ang walang halo na ethanol ay Caltex Silver and Gold at Petron XCS and Blaze..... Na-confirm ko rin ito sa Caltex and Petron Tech Support.

    pre, nagpadrain na ako sa petron last saturday then re-fuel ng xcs. shell din samin lahat na rin ng variants nila may e10 na rin...ok sya nung unang oras na drive ko from gas station pauwi but kahapon and kaninang umaga paghatid sa mga kidz sa skul ganun parin namamatay parin bigla while cruising at sa pagmenor. eratic din yung galaw ng taco. exhaust sounds like misfiring or backfire. mahirap i-set ang timing..nacheck ko na kung may mga vacuum leaks s intake...wala naman...anything else na may deperensya sa van? any clue kung carb or ignition system problem?

    Hows the LPG of your Vanette doing. What kind of system are you running? IMO, that is a very good route to address the fuel prices and imminent all fuels being E10 issue. The Vanette has more then enough space to take in either a cylinder tank in the trunk (and it will improve the ride with the added weight) or a toroidal tank in the spare tire area. What matters really is to go to a good/recommended installer.

    I've been using LPG on my Altis for well over a year already.

    Has anyone tried using gas shocks in their Vanette then inverting the rear helper spring (the lowest leaf spring "molye")? I did this on my Nissan Frontier before and it did wonders to the ride quality.

    gud am sir.gawin mo sa vannet mo,check mo ung fuel filter under the battery casing,medyo mahirap tangalin un nasa ilalaim kc ng battery.un lng ang sira ng vannet mo.ive got vannet for 10 yrs kc.thanks angd ingats

    gud am.ung adjustment ng carburator idling nya ay sa ilalim dn ng carburador my maliit na screw type na my spring.un ang adjustment nya.and mgpalit k ng kontact point.dun nkalagay sa my distributor nya.my technic ang pg adjust ng contact point nyan.kelangan my siwang ung tip to tip nya ng contact point

    nasira ata ung power window motor ko sa driver side; ayaw na gumana; any idea kung saan makakahanap to (surplus) and kung magkano? thx
