. if your're ever in taguig area, you can check out sir toto's rancho 9000xl w/ remote setup on his 3" lifted navara. we could also contact sir mnmg you could check out his 2wd, 3" lifted nav on rancho 9000xl's also. bilstein is a good choice as well, but i don't know of any available locally that will fit the nav. meron din ncp member naka lift as well using ome (old man emu) shocks, coils, saka leaf springs, kaya lang taga san pablo medyo malayo. and lastly you should definitely check out boy's 3" lifted nav on prg shocks, uca, rear springs, and full arb setup

tried to PM mnmg_000 pero invalid user naman nagpakita sir.. anyway i'll try asking at 199offroad, got their cp number from a friend na nagpalift din LC nya dun, kaya lng wala pa reply.. ok na cguro ung 2'' lift nila dun tas papalitan ko lng ung shox.. advisable ba sir na adjustable lahat ung shox or ok na pag rear shox lang adjustable?

Navara Turbo Intake Hose problems? here's a simple and cheap mod i found to prevent those "yupi hose" moments:

1st step is to clean the hose thoroughly of oil, dust, and other contaminants...

... then form a few rings (i used g. i. wire because that was available, but spring wire i think would be better) the same diameter as the hose. no need to bother tieing up the ends of the wire, just make it so that the ends touch each other...


then use silicone (i prefer to use gasket maker silicone) to hold the rings in place and to protect the hose from puncture:


let the silicone dry then test! so far, this mod has held up to my use and abuse for 5,000 km already. hope this helps!

Bos Peds, possible ba na yung pipe from IC ang nayuyupi?? Look at this video on similar engine, by simulating clogged filter(blocking snorkel) at 0:24-0:26s yung IC pipe ang nayupe.. Kung ganito nga, dapat siliconed pipe mod.

*12vdc: negative bro. masyado kasi malambot yung intake hose natin, saka tignan mo size nung air box nila then compare mo sa atin. i'm pretty sure it's the turbo intake hose, ilan beses na ako nadale nyan. hindi kasi bumabalik sa dati form yung hose natin

Parang Dubai rin pala sa inyo. Ganyan din halos akin pero more concerned ako sa oily black stuff na naiiwan sa filter kahit 3 months pa lang nakakabit. Sandali pa lang kasi wala nang clean side hehe. Meron akong nabili kay Yen much cheaper air filter, orig daw. Try ko next palit ko. Sana di kainin ng turbo.

^How much kay Yen? sa casa kasi php 1875. Yan ba yung PART# 16546 EB70A? Yung black grease coming from air pollution sa city, while yung fine dust-sand attributed to dusty/soily roads. Every 2k vinavacuum and air blast ko ang filter kasi napansin kodin madami buhangin.. Pero mas kampante ako sa location ng airbox snout ng navara located in the fender, compared dun sa nasa hood na forward-facing..

Pm'd you the price bro. Di ba 2,100.xx ang air filter sa casa? Nung una kasi akala ko din 1,8xx.xx lang tapos biglang nakasingit sa total sa baba yung VAT.

Sabi sa kin ng mechanic dapat daw itaktak lang yung filter pag lilinisin, pag vacuum or blower daw kasi masisiksik lalo yung dumi kahit from the clean side ka mag blow or sa dirty side mag vacuum. What do you guys think? Medyo madugo magpalit every 5Tkm hehe.

Hindi ko napansin, 2.1k nga with vat. Abay mura na yang kay Yen, sana hundreds nalang para every 5k ang palit.

For me, basta hindi masira yung fiber ng filter.
Yun kasi disintegrated fibers ang didikit sa MAF resistor and eventually create wrong signals.

Here's my routine (been doing this every20k kms no problem so far):
- takatak
- vacuum sa dirty side
- vacuum sa clean side
- sumpit air sa clean side
- sumpit air sa dirty side
- sumpit air sa clean side ulit
- tangal dahon, natuyong insects atbpa solid particles sa loob ng airbox..
- vacuum, punas ng wd40 inside airbox at flange
- inspect MAF, clean with contact cleaner or air(spray-can) if dirty

Eto result after 20k kms.. parang malinis pa pero ang itim ng ilalim nyan

Hi guys. Help naman sa nav ko. Im about to change the stock horns of my nav and found out that there is only one mount available on the right side, behind the grills in front. Kanina, I went to Tire Smart (Davao) and the installer suggested to put the horns on the inside space located at the front bumper and just above the plate number. Is this an appropriate place for the horns or behind the grills talaga dapat?

Lastly, the installer suggested na dagdagan ang relay ng Hella horns to make it louder and consequently sabi niya na gawing 2 sets na lang (total of 4 horns all in all) para mas malakas. Which is which? Baka kasi magkaproblema in the long run.
