    [QUOTE=softop;1560003]Hi guys,
    I need your advice. Which one is better (Reliability: rust and leaks and Style)? Roll-top cover made by Pace Edwards or Carryboy's Roller-lid?

    Thanks,
    Softop

    sir softop, i dont have any personal experience or info re: pace edwards brand but my nav (krome ed) came with carryboy roller lid. overall, ok naman sya. wala pa naman nabasa na gamit ko sa likod, but mind you, there are wet spots i see in the depressions of the pick-up bed during heavy rains. its mechanized and the controls are in the dash board na and feeling ko secure naman. there are times na sumasablay ang opening ng lid, particularly pag medyo matagal na hindi nabuksan. i just press back the close button then the open button again then ok naman na. ang hindi ko gusto dito, masayado malaki footprint nya pag completely open na ang lid. around 1/4 ng bed ang kinakain nya kasi hindi sya nagre-retract fully. i heard, the pace edwards ata retracts fully. hope this helps.

    * softop: kung wala ka naman mga important na gamit na you always have to lug around in the bed, may i suggest softlid? o, 'di ba? malapit sa handle mo?

    Here's the thing.. I just realized why my nav's mileage was so low.

    #1: The whole family plus our stuff wont fit in it. Either 2 cars kami or bring na lang our Kia Carnival. Well, most likely Carnival na yan pag out of town trips.

    #2: Golf bag. I would put it on top of the backseat folded. 2 things happen: 1.> nasisira yung felt-like tela of the backseat kaya kailangan ko pa patungan ng carton o newspaper saka ko ipapatong ang golf bag. Pag hatak pa ng caddie ng bag, posibleng magasgasan yung sidings ni brutus. Ang dali pa naman magasgas ng plastic.; and 2.> nagma-mark yung suksukan ng seatbelts sa leather cover ng backseat. Eventually mabubutas yan sa bigat at pagtalbog habang umaandar. Pag sa bed naman, baka manakaw.

    Solution: Takipan ang bed. Ang gusto ko secured para pwede iwan sa labas sa gabi. Pace Edwards solved it! Me kasamang lock (bolts) para sa tailgate. Ngayon kahit pang grocery pwede na sya.

    Lokiboy! It's been a while bud!

    Again, as I've mentioned in my last post, security was my priority. Ok naman ang Pace Edwards. Color black, mukha naman matibay, maganda naman pagka install, di naman makalampag pag tumatakbo.. Ok naman si Ride gumawa. 5 sila, tapos in 1 hour!

    BTW, thank you nga pala sa mga nag reply. Magkatapat yang si Ride saka si Carryboy sa Banawe. Punta muna ako ke Carryboy.. tanong tanong. Paglipat ko ke Ride, nakita ko kaagad yung sample roll-top nila. Ipinakabit ko na agad. Ang lakas ng ulan kanina. Sabi ko uy, right timing! At least mache-check ko kaagad kung me leak!

    Ayun me leak ng kaunti. Konting-konti lang naman.. pero ibabalik ko na rin sa kanila agad. Sayang naman ang warranty. Malamang sealant lang ang solution sa me bandang hose.

    I'm not sure kung psychological lang, pero parang smoother ang takbo ko..:surfing:

    Mas maganda talaga sir sa aerodynamics pag may lid na yung bed. Sa mythbusters ko yata nakita yun, pag walang hard cover paikot ikot yung hangin sa bed. Maganda sir yung roller top, problema lang pag inakyat ng batang tambay tulad nung sa D22 namin dati, ginawang trampoline, ayun sira kaagad, 1 week lang namin nagamit

    ^ I wouldn't bother with that - it's only Autofocus

    Our locally available Navara has had zero facelifts/updates since it first launched here 2-3 years ago and it's still proven to be #1 amongst it's rivals - others have had facelifts, updates and even recalls.

    Besides, when it comes to online voting we all know which beehive has the most bees...

    Yeah the results are a joke.... Lahat ng Korean cars are at the top of the standings most notably Kia. Malaki ata budget ng Kia this year for OT's...
