nice to meet you xave, good to connect the face to the name and the voice. Na meet ko si Xave doon sa Union Motors, di ako naka attend sa EB.

Xave, di ko nakabit yung sub ko, sabi kasi ng shop, nakaharang yung hydraulic jack which is right smack in the middle of the rear seat.

*chrisneil, thanks for sharing. Quartz Brown reminds me of another color of the late 1990s- Tuscany Taupe which was applied on the Lancer, Galant, Space Wagon and Pajero but never on the Strada back then.

sir, trip A and B are two separate readings, you can reset any of those, for example you want to record one trip from point a to b, then you want to check from point b to c then use trip b. i hope you got my point, it should not add to the odometer talaga.

your next question if its normal for the odometer to be displayed after taking out the key, the answer is yes, that is one of the feature of the odometer. meron delay to turn off

thanks for answering sir... pero hindi po ba ang odometer is supposedly is the total na tinakbo ng car, tama po b?? alam ko po na hindi dapat sha mag add up exact sa odo, pero hindi po ba dapat mas mataas padin yung odo somehow kasi sha po yung total?? im wondering lang po kasi mas mababa and odometer ko ... nung inadd ko yung tripA and tripB...kasi if ever po, my odo is 848.. tripB is 753..tripA is 277.. na di po b ang odo ko po dapat is atleast 1030 ...pasensya na po hirap po talaga ako mag explain ng gusto ko sabihin hehehe ....correct me if im wrong po at hindi lang maka intindi hehe

Sir, the readings ng tripmeter A and tripmeter B are separate at hindi po puwedeng mag-add.

Ganito po yun: Yung total distance from the starting point x is equal to 848 kilometers. Ngayon from x you travelled 95 kilometers then resetted tripmeter B so the reading will start from 0 at the 95 kilometer mark. After travelling another 476 kilometers you switched displays to trip meter A and resetted it to 0 so the reading started after travelling 571 kilometers from x. Thus, after travelling a distance of 848 kilometers from x, tripmeter B registered 753 kasi you travelled 95 kilometers from point x when you started taking the reading, while tripmeter A registered 277 because remember it was only after travelling 571 kilometers from the starting point x that you began to take the reading. Switching displays from tripmeter A to tripmeter B doesn't freeze tripmeter A's reading, and vice versa. HTH .

mga boss! i took my strada for a carwash this afternoon, and i noticed some rust forming in the rear chassis:

just wanna ask if this is normal, or should i bring my truck back to the casa for rustproofing? TIA!

Surface rust lang siya, I think.

Sand and paint over is possible. It won't rust through. Had something like that on my Pajero. Nabenta ko na hindi naman kumalat or tumagos.

Mga Sirs...i recently brought my Strada to the local Mitsubishi "kasa" here to have my regular oil change...after the oil change..bcoz of the stupidity of the staff...they scratch my Strada against a post...which caused a small paint chip on the fender flare of my previously still "perfect" Strada...they offered to have the fender flare repainted..free of charge...should i settle for just repaint..considering the scratch is just about the size of a fingernail...or should i insist on a total replacement of the fender flare?...if ever i settle for a repaint...will it really be still be like new?like back to original?or will it never be the same as the original paint?if i insist on total replacement...will it cause more damage?will the replacement fender flare still be as good a fit as the original?what would u guys do if you were in my situation?this is my first car..i took very good care of it...i rarely drive it..now they ruined it...even a small scratch is big in my eyes...please advice!!!Thanks in advance!!!

wala yan bro...lahat ng strada pwera lang yung nasa showroom meron nyan hehe...solusyon? fine sand paper tapos black paint in cotton buds hehe...tanggal yan....saka if ever man na mag alala ka...dapat yung rust sa mismong body....kasi pag chassis, kung baga...pudpod na ang ngipin ng kalawang inde pa nangangalahati yung thickness ng chassis mo...

hi sir! if you ask me....I would settle nalang for the painting of the slightly damage part....because AFAIK yung fenders is always sold as a set and hinde pwedeng by piece...and if you calculate din naman medyo economically wrong kung papalitan yung undamage flares diba...but still it is possible given the right haggling skills and you have all the rights to demand...and also casa yung nakagawa ng damage which has a principle na "Tangal damage, Salpak Bago"....so you might want to give them a taste of their own medicine ika nga...hehe

but if I may suggest....just in case you settle for the painting of the flares....why not haggle nalang for a body colored fender painting or any other color na type nyo on all the four fenders.... I think it might be easier now because of what the staff has done to your truck....and you can also impose na "buti nga inde ko na dinemand palitan diba?" But do expect some comments coming from a lot of surrounding people like "ang OA naman ng may ari, ang liit liit gusto palitan" and the likes hehe....but hell I care ka nalang siguro sir...kasi in the first place naman they are the ones who caused the damage to your "previously perfect" strada as what you've said nga...

Just exploring your options sir....I hope it helps you somehow...

Last Lucky Post for page 888....haha!
