hindi pa ako nakakasakay ng 4x4glx and alam ko there's only 1 club member with a 4x4 glx. sa street marami rin 4x2 baka hindi niyo lang napapansin coz of the flarings na nabibili aftermarket. i dont know if the lower variants are usually affected pero you have to consider that the 3.2 is bigger and stronger therefore iba ang steering and suspension components nila. oonga no!!! quick thought...kung nilagyan ang 2.5 ng molye and coilspring ng 3.2 titibay ba? kasya ba? possible ba yun? (can anyone answer this?)
anyway, dapat naman walang iba sa glx 4x2 or 4x4 or kahit sa 4x4 gls because they all have the same transmission, engine and specs ang pagkakaiba lang would be the differential to change the drivetrain from 2h 4h and 4l. sa ideally dapat nga same lang sila and ang 3.2 lang ang kakaiba.
diba nga ang difference lang ng 4x4 gls sa 4x2 glx or gl would be the interior (steering wheel, cpu, tpms, headunit, seats and shiftknob) exterior (flarings, lining, cage and the rear window to the bed)

I bought mine Nov 2006, logged 35k kms, traveled once to Ilocos Norte, 4x to Catbalogan, Samar, did some mild off-roading, and am still happy with it. I have the GLS 2.5 4x4 manual trans. My only issue was the steering column. As for the jittery front suspension, personally, it ain't that bad, but, I think this can be remedied by aftermarket shocks.
Dadz,
I'm probably due for front shocks mods. Which do you think is better, Bilstein or Old Man Emu?

July 27th, 2008 07:41 PM #6665to you, d' patriarch
gud pm. and to everyone here in this thread, gud pm too. am relatively new here. am trying to read all that was written here from the start to the latest ones. pero super haba talaga ng thread. came across you guys because of my brother who used to be a systems analyst from yehey.com.
before i got my blue Glx 4x2 last april 2008, i was the first one to own an orange civic SiR last nov 1998 here in Pampanga. still have SiRio (my civic's name) with me. but when i got my hands on Erap (my glx's name), i was amazed by the power it can give you. considering its a diesel.
decided to put SiRio on the sideline because of my work, which brings me from angeles city to mariveles, bataan and to sbma, where shipyards are located. kawawa kasi suspension ni SiRio, especially from liac all the way to mariveles. this is one of the reasons why i decided to get a strada. it really fits my line of work.
pasensya na medyo humahaba na itong nobela ko. bumabawi lang ako sa inyo because medyo sakit na rin ulo ko because of the long thread. but i enjoyed reading your notes guys. dami ako natututunan about our rides. thanks in part to my bro. if not for him, wont be here.
lastly, like what i have texted to d' patriarch, is there anybody who is planning to trade their 17" Gls sport mags for new sets real soon? i haven't upgraded anything on my ride yet. except for the stock horn.
anyway, many thanks to everyone of you...
God bless and drive safe...

Bro what's your rear shock if it's rancho9000, belstein is the perfect combination, but this will not add height to your truck but surely it will give you a better comfort and better performance in an off road. Keep this in mind usind this brands you can still use you stock coil and leaf spring but some times store's will tell you diffrent just to make a sale. keep me posted oo nga pala subok na yang combination na yan sa malaysia triton club ilan din silang me combination na ganyan and dito din sa thailand triton club.

Bro's i was just informed that the problem with the steering , clutch and suspension happens dito in model's of 2006 but from 2007 up to date na ayos na daw ang problema according to MMTH. Sa 2.5 siya lumabas same with the weak shock but not the uneven height. Same with the problem we experince sa 3.2 the wow sa fuel system is also been fix already and sabi nila all parts that have no fault are already been released kaya dapat daw wala nag ganyan na problema. Doing this just to pass the information i got from our friends dito.

that is a very refreshing news sir dadz, galing mo talaga!baka yung shipment na pinadala nila sa Pinas contains those defective parts... sana nga the new parts that are covered by our warranties are already ok.
so ngayon customer service na lang ng ibang dealers ang may problema, hehehe
it reminds me nga pala during the last mini EB when sir av8or5 asked our new british member, sir yorkieinmanila, if he experienced the usual problems posted here in his new strada, his immediate reply was: "Its a bloody truck, NOT a ferrari!"
