Strada Owners,
Does anyone experience frequent static or "ground" everytime go down and closes the truck's door after a long (sometimes not so long) drive? Kasi this always happen to me after driving. So minsan ayaw ko na hawakan ang door kasi nakakagulat din yung small shock. Is it only me or does anyone also experience it too? Btw it only happen in my Strada and never experience it in all of my other ride.

Sir normal yan lalo na pag dry ang hangin sa paligid or dahil sa klase ng material ng damit na suot natin...nakakaroon ng static. Na-e-experience din ito sa mga pintuan ng bahay. Nagbi-build up yung static pag pasok at labas natin sa kotse.

ang static ay wala sa pintuan ng kotse kaya walang problema actually ang unit, yung katawan natin mismo nang-gagaling yung static, at yung kotse ang nagiging ground pag bubuksan o isasara mo. Ingat lang kasi ito yung minsan na nagiging dahilan ng sunog sa mga gas static

Thanks for all the reply. Actually meron nga ako nakita spark from my finger to the metal part of the door. Parang spark galing sa electronic lighter. My unit is a '10 GLS with no seat cover (ang sama kasi ng free cover). If I remember right, I saw a small antenna like in one of the auto accessories inside the mall which eliminates the static energy created in the car. Just can't remember where

Another way also to avoid such incident ay yung susi hawakang maigi tapos saka itutok sa susian ng door. This way ma re-release ng hinay-hinay yung static sa katawan natin. kasi kung may pagitan yung kamay natin at yung pintuan makakaroon ng spark

Good evening strada owner...im a newbie here...i enjoy reading this thread...very informative..i just got my 2010 strada gls 2.5 4x4 mt fairy white only this afternoon...i really love the strada...i used to have the 1999 strada before, then i try the pajero...but my heart still looking for this monster, thats the reason why i get the new strada...hehehe...

medyo exaggerated naman yung fungi fungi na yun....IMO it will take a very loooong time and a very poor aircon maintenance for those moisture feeding bacterias to grow in a state that its gonna be harmful to humans....so what I suggest is that kung talagang masyado ng maamoy yung aircon then have it cleaned to your suking service center and tell them to check for some flaws in the aircon system....because some times this certain flaws are the ones causing the foul smell or anything unusual, like tickiting sounds and the lost of coldness...In my case I have already log 36k kms on my truck and there is a bit of a "newly opened aircon smell" whenever you turn on the aircon which I believe all cars do have this smell and IMO it is perfectly normal for my truck.....also it can vary to the brand of vehicle....as per my observation the brands that was having a hard time perfecting their aircon system on the past years has already perfected it now....and there are also other brands that has perfected their aircon system in the past but have seem to lost that perfection on their latest models today..

hinde nyo na po kailangan mag lift if your sticking to the same tire size and 0 offset mags....it will fit perfectly without any rubbing AFAIK.... but the width should only be limited to 8"... larger than that it might cause some trimming of the mudguard na just like mine....But I'm still not trimming the mud stock mudguards...=P.....but the best way to decide is have the mags fitted para sigurado tayo sa fitment....HTH

Nag file na kami nang complaint sa adjuster. Panay tawag daw sa bahay pero di na namin i-aatras yun. Baby has been completely repaired as of today yung fender na lang kasi inorder pa.

Bibili na lang ako ng pine scent ng sinasabit pag meron na "fungi" smell yung ride ko.

tama yun sir....dapat tuloy nyo....the damage has been done...and to think napaiyak pa nya yung wife mo....

regarding naman dun sa aircon....basta yung tipong unang bukas lang saka medyo may amoy yung aircon ok lang yun....lahat naman ng mga auto may ganun pag medyo tumagal tagal na....now, in your case baka mamaya yung the whole time na ginagamit mo is may super foul smell talaga...better have it checked narin.... and I agree putting an air freshner could somehow remedy cabin smells..

yes sir, for stock height and without any glitches 8" ang sakto...not unless you install M/T tires like the mickey thompson MTZ's...may sayad yun sa mudguard but very minimal lang naman....the width of the Stock 08-09 gls sport mags is 7".. BTW sir...if you are also planning to get new tires...try getting the 265/70 size...AFAIK pwede parin yun without having any rubbing and still have that nice wide look...

what i do, if near my house, i turn off the ac and let the fan push all the cold air out, so by the time i turn off my engine, warm air goes out of the vents. that has been my practice for all my cars regardless of manufacturer.

maybe that will help sir.

Thanks very much. it seems hindi po pala ako makakasama sa Mt. Pulag trip. Kc our trip to china was booked before that date but then to some reason it was moved. sayang, i really wanted to come. ang masama pa nun i already bought a tent, sleeping bags, hiking bag and got the soft lid on for the trip. and the adobo, beers and the other iihawing foods was planned. loko kasing agency, they just forgot to mention 1 necessary requirement that cause the delay. really should not be talking about it, well im just really piss, had already planned my whole vacation trips and this happens.

Can i ask again uli pala mga sir, can you tell me the way to Mt. Pinatubo? SCTEX exit? the towns? any other info that will help. thank you very much. God Bless our Stradas for our safe trips and the other travelers na rin for the vacation outings. hehehe...
