Mga Sirs...i recently brought my Strada to the local Mitsubishi "kasa" here to have my regular oil change...after the oil change..bcoz of the stupidity of the staff...they scratch my Strada against a post...which caused a small paint chip on the fender flare of my previously still "perfect" Strada...they offered to have the fender flare repainted..free of charge...should i settle for just repaint..considering the scratch is just about the size of a fingernail...or should i insist on a total replacement of the fender flare?...if ever i settle for a repaint...will it really be still be like new?like back to original?or will it never be the same as the original paint?if i insist on total replacement...will it cause more damage?will the replacement fender flare still be as good a fit as the original?what would u guys do if you were in my situation?this is my first car..i took very good care of it...i rarely drive it..now they ruined it...even a small scratch is big in my eyes...please advice!!!Thanks in advance!!!

before you decide (repaint, replace.. etc) make sure that their supervisor and manager and customer service is aware of what happened. So that, NEXT time they will be more carefull about this. It happened to me with my previous accord in (honda alabang) they lost my Mags Center CAP (no locally available LA-Wheels design).. management found out later on... another Memo was sent to their staff (meaning it is not the first time)..anyways .. they just reimburst all the expenses as they cannot the right light alloy center cap, i didnt agree with their replacement plastic imitation center cap..

Hi... expectant owner here of Strada GLS Sport 4X4 Manual(either black or red). Is it true it will take almost a month to have your unit?

Actually i have the Hilux and Navara as second choice... in sight last month... but reading stikot forum... make me consider other brands. Besides... my wife opinion is... Strada has the most spacious cabin... more intuitive controls... and the looks. How true? Anyone... pls enlighten me.

sir, any of the choices you have are good. because your in this thread, of course people will tell you Strada is your best bet.

you just have to get in one and see for yourself which you prefer. looks are subjective, but strada does have a spacious interior and more relax back seat vs other pickups.

because of high demand of strada, that is one reason for the waiting time.

bro jubs, i was able to find a store that sells projector headlamps like that of AV80r. i will be meeting him next week to talk about the discount on the price should there be a group buy. sir dadz can you tell from the picture if this is exactly the same as the ones you sent here. thanks.

regarding sa availability...since the demand of the strada is really high...some dealers are trully packed with orders so the waiting time can really up to a month...however it still depends on the dealer IMO because some could even do it in a weeks time...so I would suggest you do some Mitsu dealer hopping...=D

and with regards to your wife's observation with strada...
one thing, Girls always makes the best description with almost everything...

hi guys, finally got my strada gls (claysoil beige) and I must say ganda ng kulay in the flesh, hindi ko pa napapawashing until now, d pa rin gaano halata ang dumi hehe. I drove it all the way from manila to iloilo last saturday, nagulat ako sa tipid ng strada. Its one hell of a miser, mas matakaw pa carens ko but almost the same sa 4x2 nav. Anyways, 1st mod ko sana e yung club sticker, pano mag pa member> is there an existing local chapter? TIA

Guys, my 4x2 glx strada that I got from Xave early this month of March, dahan dahan ko nag upgrade. So far, Hella horn, replace visor cut front tint to 3M full tint front and rear (I kept the sides as is), replace seat covers, back up sensors, JBL 1 inch tweeters placed at the speaker space at the front doors, cargo net.

Gusto ko sana ipakabit yung kicker sub ko at alpine ampli that I removed from my fuego. Sabi ng shop di daw kasya yung kicker sub with box sa likod, behind the rear back rest, dahil daw sa hydraulic jack that is in the center part. Meron daw nagkabit ng fosgate sub, pero tinanggal yung jack, tapos pinutol yung base ng jack. Is there any other suggestions?

I also reserved splash guards, the plastic frame that covers the whole upper wheel well of each tire. Ok ba ito or will it cause rusting in the long run kasi di mo na malilinis yung metal portion?

please post a pic naman if you have time....medyo natabunan na kasi yung claysoil beige na mga pics eh...hehe...yung quartz brown meron nag post na bago the page before this...(for the future owners who is still undecided on what color to get)

I think madami naring mga naka GLX na nagalagay ng subs sa likod....lets just wait for their inputs...but please do try using the search button nitong thread...if I can remember correctly may nagpost na nung ganong mod dito...and also check the STRADA MODS thread under the TSCP threads...meron din dun...

and for the splash guards...I think you are referring to the fender liner....ok naman yun...I think about 2 or 3 members has already installed that mod....and I think the purpose of it is to prevent the wheel wells from getting direct contact from the elements...So I think inde naman siguro ito mag tri-trigger ng rust accumulation....and it might even help it to prevent rust in the long run....but some of us don't find it necessary anymore for the reason that the strada has already undergone OEM rustproofing...and unless your from the area of malabon, navotas or any coastal town an extra protection surely wouldn't hurt...
