Strada owners from the East (of Manila) and other nearby places....

TSCP will be having a mini EB in your area tomorrow night 8 pm. The venue will be in the Blue Knights Bar near Brickroad open parking space at the Sta. Lucia Grand Mall (near Friday's). Newbies are very welcome to attend and be a part of this cool club. Hopefully, the East Boys of TSCP can do this once a month on a revolving basis with the South Boys, Northerners and the Central guys of the club...

Does anyone experience frequent static or "ground" everytime go down and closes the truck's door after a long (sometimes not so long) drive? Kasi this always happen to me after driving. So minsan ayaw ko na hawakan ang door kasi nakakagulat din yung small shock. Is it only me or does anyone also experience it too? Btw it only happen in my Strada and never experience it in all of my other ride.

I have the same experience. In my case, I think it's because of the cloth seat cover. Ang ginagawa ko ay humahawak ako sa metal part ng pinto habang bumababa. Pa-slide kasi ako bumaba dahil sa taas ng Strada! hehe

Good evening strada owner...im a newbie here...i enjoy reading this thread...very informative..i just got my 2010 strada gls 2.5 4x4 mt fairy white only this afternoon...i really love the strada...i used to have the 1999 strada before, then i try the pajero...but my heart still looking for this monster, thats the reason why i get the new strada...hehehe...

sir, i experienced that. but its not your strada, its just electric charges sa seat cover..try putting more downy. heheheh.

complaint has been filed against the adjuster. (para tumino naman) both panels and the front fender replaced not repaired. Sir, i was advised na wag muna post yung name nang insurance company para walang problema. Pero once ma settle na i will post na lang the whole story.

Hi, that is normal to be affected by the static electric charges kasi you are sorrounded by static accumulator inside the car, what you can do para hindi ka magulat have a handy metal rod to discharge, inside the airplane it is worst you can see are tiny sparks between your skin & metal, that is why it is a hazard when you are refilling gasoline to come out from your car.

My observation is whenever I switched on my aircon from the overnite parking, the initial blow of aircon is amoy hindi natuyong basahan (manusya sa tagalog), I totally disagree with my wife na amoy ng natititirang amoy bago daw, I suspect that somewhere in the system ay mayroon nag aaccumulate na pool of water, I don't have the idea where,do you have the same experience?

Sir sa expressways lang po ba bawal yung ganun? kasi if bawal, magre-route na lang ako ng daan. plan ko na lang dumaan ng Paranaque --> Aquinaldo Highway --> Tagaytay. Sa tingin nyo po okey lang dun? Salamat.

Sir based po from my experience sa previous car (Lancer) ko at sa mga nababasa ko before from other forums, nangyayari po talaga yung parang may amoy na hindi natuyong basahan sa initial blow of aircon. Ang reason po kasi is because yung mga aircon ducts nagkakaroon ng moist pag matagal na naka bukas aircon especially pag gabi at sobrang lamig ng setting ng aircon temp tapos i-off derecho aircon bago patayin makina, kaya pag naiwan overnight yung sasakyan natutuyo yung moist na un sa ducts at dun nangagaling yung amoy sa initial blow ng aircon.

Solution po na ginagawa ko para maiwasan, since I have to wait atleast 2-3mins before turning off the engine, sinasabay ko na po ung pag-papatuyo ng ducts by turning off the aircon and leaving the blower to its max setting for the said period of time. Although can't really say of its effectivity yet to my strada since my baby is still relatively new (3000+ odo) but it worked po sa 2009 Altis ko (35k+ odo), 1 year na pero ala yung amoy na dinedescribe mo sa initial blow, at amoy bago pa din aircon...Thanks
