July 25th, 2008 10:32 AM #6632yep sirv8or5, minor lang namn.. regarding sa overall performance ok pa dn sya. malakas humatak, yung mga parts lng ang hindi ako satisfied. before frontier pickup ko for 4years, hindi ako nagpalit ng brake lining ni minsan. i guess manipis nga siguro. pero yung gls namin 22tkm na ang tinakbo hindi pa din nag palit. sa akin kase gamit o sa province. masyado maputik and mabuhangin.

hello to everybody.
i only used my car for only a month since i buy my new strada. no fault so far experienced. share ko lang po if anybody experience while passing a water pot in the road while traveling at about 80km/hr and hit those water...at a sudden my windshield was deluge with water and visibility totally zero for at least 3 or 4 seconds.
worried lang po me if something comes in my front on that time. an accident surely will happens.
are any attachments or improvements can prevent water to splash in my windshield?
Appreciated any suggestion about my problem.
Salamat po.

yeah, it's because of our HT tires, even * 40-60kph and you hit some water on the road, you will have zero visibility....
I also experienced this on my nissan eagle when i use HT tires, but when i changed to AT then its not a problem..
The only problem is, 270/70/r16 michellin A/T tires cost 9k x 4 = 36k
I just need more budget to change my tires...

I experienced that a lot of times especially during the past rainy days and I intentionally pass by flooded roads to get that splash on my windshield. I already applied rain repellant on my windshield and it helps clear the water on my windshield quickly with the help of the wiper blades. A large splash though doesn't get cleared immediately and had to slow down as I can't see the road ahead of me. It needs two passes of the wiper blades to get the windshield cleared, that's around 2 seconds zero visibility. It does get dangerous when I can't see what's ahead of me so I just slow down till the windshield gets cleared. I don't think there are gadgets that can prevent water from splashing unto the windshield. I may be wrong though.

yes... you are correct with the A/T
H/T- highway terrain- this came stock with your strada GLX
M/T- mud terrain - mabagsik po ito- the tread design is monstrous... ganito yung kay docglen- i think.
the benefits of the A/T tire is added traction in normal conditions especially if you are frequently driving in uneven road/trails. the grove design of the A/T are wider and deeper side-to-side while H/T indicates car-like designs.
this has been a discussed thread also, feel free to back read anytime...
