Re license plates, it's not the LTO that gives the 7-day limit but the TMG.;)

Thanks for the info, isketi. But, aren't they both government agencies? Dapat me coordination sila. Mabagal yung LTO, tapos take advantage naman at manghuhuli yung isa. I still feel that there's something wrong there. Ako naman takot ma-apprehend kaya kahit atat na atat ako gamitin yung strada ko, nakagarahe.

From previous posts, the 2.5L gives 10-12 km/L city driving as against 7.6-8.6 km/L with my 3.2L. Again from previous posts, in highway driving, the 2.5L delivers 12-15 km/L. Have not yet driven my 3.2 in the highways, but I assume and expect that the mileage will be less than the 2.5L. Will find that out when I go to N. Ecija in 2 weeks time after I get my license plates. Will post my observations.

Sa akin 2.5 M/T, di ko nire-reset yung monitor for the past 6 months, I get 10.5km/L, mixed provincial city and highway. Nung di pa ako nagpapalaki ng gulong, 11.5km/L.

Napansin ko rin nga pala ang squeeking sound sa likuran ng strada 3.2
dumaan kasi harap ng hauz namin and wala ng ibang car na dumadaan...
kaya pinakinggan ko engine sound nya, well tahimik, maingay pa ang multicab.. hehehehhehehehe
Yun nga lang, as the strada passes by, napansin ko ang squeeking sound, nasabi ko sa wife ko kung narinig nya, well simple reaction nya is maybe loosen lang yung tire spare... im just wandering ano kaya yun... hehehehe

Well anyway, im excited to have my new Strada 3.2 end of this month or mid october if GOD allows... I would like to ask from the guro's here.... I like the black color, pwede bang change yung fender into black from casa b4 the release? pangit kasi kung gray rin ang molding na ilalagay ko if ever... ....

hindi rin pala nagkakalayo against dmax. cause i'm reseaching and finding ways on how to improve pa our fuel consumption. there's no question na matipid nga ang rides natin, but diesel price are too much now a days. hindi ko tuloy ma-enjoy mag-rev mabuti..

mostly, upgrade chips increase hp and torque which increase the FC, may chip upgrade kaya na the primary purpose is to increase kilometers per liter consumed..?

Yung FC ko may hataw na kasama yan. Mahirap kasing maiwasan pag malakas yung engine. Pero noong driver ko ang gumamit ng mga isang buwan, walang hataw at swabe ang maneho, napaabot niya ng 11.8 km/L.

All chip upgrades claim to lower FC by about 10% because you don't have to rev the engine more to attain the same speed. But because of the increase in power, it's always very tempting to drive it sportily, hence, increasing the FC. I guess there are chips with economy mode, though I'm pretty sure the power would be less.

tagal din ginawa, maghapon.. natagalan din sa pag tanggal/kabit ng airbag..

was checking out the Dmax thread and they were talking about chip upgrades.. i checked the Mitsu Uk website and I noticed na hindi naglabas ng 3.2L dun, 2.5L lang pero madaming variants. (eg: 4work, 4life, warrior, animal, elegance, etc.) I noticed na iba iba ang power depending on the variant but all with the same engine. The Animal and Elegance editions have a HP rating of 165 compared sa 134 ng warrior editions, same our 2.5L. bakit kaya ganun? simply binabago lang ba nila ang tuning ng ECU's nila or baka naman Chipped ang mga top variants? curious lang po. chineck ko kasi http://www.tunit.co.uk ang dami ko nababasa na nagkakabit ng chip upgrades.

You are looking in the wrong way. Try searching the Pajero's engine chip upgrade. I posted it also here way back.

Pagkaka-alam ko, with the chip, the engine can give you 190+ hp and 440+ Torque.
