just an update.

the lowest variant (1.08M) will not get fender flares, rear bumber, steering wheel tilt function, RV meter, foglamps,power rear windows!
It will have smaller tires, black plastic bumper.

Top variant will get them all. Power rear windows!

All variants will have all the safety features (airbags, abs, etc... )

Ang babaw ko ba about the rear power window? Hehehe. I like that feature very much. Our International Harvester Travelall wagon has that feature (still works!).

those were the specs shown to me by mitsu pampanga. actually wala syang brochure, what the agent showed me was a powerpoint file supposed to be their sales training tool for the upcoming strada. even had comparissons against hilux and dmax. it may not be the final specs but siguro close naren.

i just checked out the new strada at mitsu cavite.
here's what i saw.


pros:
-the rv meter is touchscreen. very cool!
-power rear window. very cool!
-big tires along with bigger wheel wells.
-all windows have automatic up/down.
-all doors have a small light in each panel.

cons:
-upon first look. i though the seats were too stiff and hard. i was right! ang tigas nila. i couldn't seat comfortably.
-the plastic all over the dashboard and armrests on the doors feels cheap. it was silver painted and i already saw some scratches which look terrible.
-gloomy interior.

overall:
-sobrang sulit sya for all the features but lacks finishing touches.







* after that trip i went toyota and check out the hilux again. i had to seat myself inside to compare it with the strada and all i can say is ibang iba talaga ang comfort and finishing touches nitong dalawa.
