Talking about top ups, meron na kaya nito sa local car accessory shops...

I think this is from Malaysia. Plano ko kasi is to modify the hinge ng cover para puede tanggalin when the need arises.
Sir dadz, baka may makita ka dyan sa Thailand.
    Thanks.

Those with a 3.2 li engine would still have to wait.
Did some minor research today re: this issue. According to K&N website, the Filter Cross Reference for K&N Part 33-2951 is Mitsubishi Part No. 1500A098. I checked my old air filter Part No. and its the same. I also checked sir bryan's(2.5L) and G01's(3.2L) 20k PMS records in the Strada PMS thread, and both were replaced with the same part no. So the 2.5L and 3.2L here use the same air filter!
Yun nga lang, may nakasulat na warning sa K&N site. It states:
"Use this cross reference as a reference guide only! Use our application search to determine the K&N filter that correctly fits your vehicle.
CROSS REFERENCE WARNING - When a specific filter is not shown in our application search results for a specific vehicle application, it should be assumed that there is not a K&N filter for that vehicle. Any use of this cross reference guide to find a replacement filter is done at the installer's risk."
So, ano ngayon? Hehe. Labo ano.

May I be allowed to state my opinion on the warning of K&N re: part no. 33-2951. I would surmise that their R&D of this filter covered only the vehicles that are stated in their application search . Thus using said filter on a Mitsubishi Triton/Strada 3.2 li should be approached with caution by the vehicle owner, for the size of the filter maybe the same for the 2.5 & 3.2 li engines but the air flow dynamics developed for this filter by K&N is for a 2.5 li engine only. And it would be up to the parties concerned to assume the risk should any problems arise from the use of said filters outside of their recommended applications.

I totally agree with you, sir. At your own risk! Same situation with medications not allowed for pregnant patients. Since there are no researches or evidences that prove their safety, drug companies issue warnings to refrain from using such drugs. So, maybe it would be wiser to wait. Thanks.

+1 po ako ke sir bobcas remember we all have an air flow sencor iba ang rate nag 2.5 sa 3.2 some might have a engine check alert some maybe wala so be cautious na lang po mga kapatid.

Im calling 4x4 Strada owner's if you can help out / volunteer to bring supplies, etc to those affected with the typhoon. If we can have enough volunteers, we can call abs-cbn or gma that our club can help out. Sorry, I can't lead this as I am out of town. I am still coordinating with Strada Club officers on who can lead. I just hope we can do our share. I'll be posting this in other pick-up threads so we can get as many pick-ups in helping our brothers and sisters in need.

well for me, it all depends upon your needs. syempre kung mag 20s ka, mas maporma talaga kaya lang syempre medyo magiiba ang ride nya. mas mararamdaman mo yung mga bumps ng konti and mas limited ka sa pagaabuso ng pagiging pick up mo since you'll be concerned about your mags. kung di ka naman nag off road talaga, then ok lang yan. but if you're going to ask me personally...ill go with 18 bro. opinion ko lang yun ha.

IMO, a 20 in. mags will be more good-looking than an 18 in. If you want your GLX to be a city-sleeker, go for the 20s.

Sir, na-release na po ang 2010 GLX. Follow-up nyo na lang sa SA nyo. Kung di makapag-commit, siguro palitan mo na ang dealership mo.
