Although alam ko naman na kayang kaya ng strada natin, ang worry ko lang ay baka mabigla yung strada or maapektuhan yung engine life niya in the long run kapag isinabak kaagad. What do you think good sirs??

nung last test run namin sa sapang bato...may kasama kami 2010 strada kaka 1k pms lang...sinabak na nya agad sa trail hehe you can see the pics on strada club's facebook....tapos pinatakbo nya ng 200kph before mag 1k....

Thanks for the responses mga sirs! Good choice ang Mickey Thompsons di ba?

Rough kasi yung daanan paakyat. Hehe.

Hi to all! Had the misfortune to have an accident. Plowed into a section of the road being repaired. Lumipad ako. Anyway, its a testament to the durability of our Strada, given the circumstances, naiuwi ko pa siay at nadala pa ang sarili sa ospital (casa). That's all that's keeping it from running properly. Anyway, when i had it estimated by casa (diamond fairview) and adjuster, ang dami nang idinamay. Of course the skid plate got ripped (sayang di pa ako nakakabili kay sir Manolo, baka lesser the damage kapag nalagyan ko before. The gas tank, meron lang konti lubog, pinapapalitan na. Also the left-hand front lower suspension arm pwede naman yata pukpukin, replace din. Anyway mas maganda na iyong bago, its good my insurance handled it all.

That's my sad story kuya eddie...

Thanks for the concern sir TP (warning po sa mga comrades mo sa TSCP, ingat paguwi from 2nd venue, hehe..). Initial estimate is three days, but that was before may mga nadagdag na i-replace. Absent today iyong SE in charge, siya daw magbibigay final estimated days to repair and of course the availability of parts. Ang hindi ko mawari sa estimate why the puny skid plate costs 41k and the equally lata na engine room cover 5k! I will verify tomorrow.

    Good day mga Sir!

Reading the posts alone convinced me to get a new Strada . This is the first time I'll be buying a truck and am really excited to experience own one (kotse at van kasi ung mga dati)

I'm planning to get one in two weeks but am still confused whether to get the GLX or the GLS variant

I don't really need a 4x4 but was considering the other stuff found in the GLS variant, which I actually also need help on.

Going now to my question... hehe....

Does the difference in price make up for all the other things found in the GLS variant not available in the GLX(minus the 4x4)? I'm pretty particular sa aesthetics kaya pasensya na mga sir kung medyo nonsense to others yung question ko..

Salamat mga sir and thanks for all the good reads,

    RPP

P.S. - If you know any agents na ok or would like to compare the offer sakin nung current dealer at kung kaya tapatan or babaan pa let me know... hehe.. sayang din yun

    Sir rrp,

If you got the money, go for the better one -, the strada GLS. It will be definitely worth it. However, the GLX is just fine ... kahit nga yung GL lang eh :hihihi: Mas okay na din yung 4x4 since, you might need it sometime. Ika nga nila e' ...

" It's better to have it and not need it, rather than need it and not have it "

Dealer ? Siguro Diamond Motors Quezon Ave. Very accommodating SA's but like what I say ... I don't know why pero napakalungkot at napakaiba ng aura niya -, pero so what, if they can give you great service ... wala na yang aura aura na yan. :hysterical:

Citimotors too, is okay. Union Motors ? Err ...

when it comes to the technical details the GLS has the ABS and the electronic brake distribution that really packs a big plus to safety, with regards to the exterior a major difference is the fender flares...for the interior naman the maplights & the onboard multi purpose computer that has a lot of purpose..redundantly speaking...haha! and some interior accents lang naman....
but still better check the dealer nearest you..

but one thing is for sure you will never go wrong
