Nothing has changed in the interior, except for the HU and the steering mounted audio control. Nawala pa nga yung silver outline sa may stick shift. Yeah you are right, di na blue ang instrument cluster, but i'm still going for the 2010 model. for a 3k difference (902k for the 2009 glx and 905k for the 2010 glx) ok na yun. I'll just use my imagination (and extra money) to turn it into something that i really like.

Please don't fret po. The Wheel/Tire package is something that is always "upgradable" and can always be removed/replaced/changed. As for the current availability of units, the inventory per dealer is something we cannot get control of (wish ko lang). But knowing Jessa, based on what has been said about her, is doing her best. I'm pretty sure you can give her the benefit of the doubt despite the lenghtly time of waiting...

In the meantime, here is hoping you still get to have a good nights rest... hehehe...

Sana nga po she'll do her best kasi i've been hearing stories about SA's in other Mitsubishi dealerships that they would prefer financed buyers rather than cash buyers. An SA disclosed this to me that cash buyers for a Montero would wait for 2 months while those who are financed would only wait less like 2 weeks lang. Jessa seems a nice person naman and i told her the truth that I also have an existing reservation at Diamond Motors, so kung sino ang mauna dun ako. Ok naman sa kanya.

im starting to think if the SA's of all dealers went through a Product Knowledge training of the Strada and other 2010 models or not...

...and to my surprise, the showroom here in baguio has a new inventory- the 2009 Strada GLS Sport- hindi pa siya yung bago! so i presume that MMC as well as other dealers are exhausting all possible measures to clear their inventory before making formal Press Releases and Advetrisements.

got my strada sa wakas last tuesday lang.. 3pm naka sked to be released pero 530pm dumating sa casa from planta tapos nilinis pa nd naglagay tints 7pm na kami nakalabas.. so far am very happy with it ganda color ganda mags ganda engine =) bukas sabak naman sa putikan ng farm =)

TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR SYSTEM-
When I drove out my lady it was sunny, later in the afternoon umulan ng malakas, then a tiny alarm sounded(beep, beep,beep)medyo it take sometime before I can pinpoint where it is coming from, sa PMS pala, the pressure bumaba pala ng several PSI due to cooling of air which is understandable, the problem is the annoying noise while driving, wala naman any isolation switch. This is the second time but the first encounter was wala naman apparent reason to trigger the alarm basta tumunog na lang w/c necessitating me to stop, park & checked the 4tires, everything are normal naman. Ganito ba talaga ka sensitive ang PMS?

thanks for posting sir..i just hope you can indicate what variant of strada you got so others can also know the timeframe of waiting. what casa? and thats quite fast in installing the tint, cleaning/washing the car, and having pre-delivery inspection in a timreframe of 1.5 hours. pictures of your ride sir would also be great!

Yeah, each changes per year model has it pros and cons..and with the price difference of P3K, go for the updated look and just modify it to look as what you have dreamt of.

try checking din po yung spare tire nyo...


it also happened to me once...lumuwang pala yung pito nung spare kaya thats why tunog ng tunog yung TPMS...so I tightened it and have it blown again in the gas station....but if not naman po and yung tipong bigla bigla lang tumutunog yung TPMS tapos bigla namang nawawala after a while sensitivity issues lang yun and theres nothing to worry about.

ung sakin po came from union motors in balintawak, rosita red, eto po ung gls sport na manual.. we were told nung august 1st week of sept. baka mailabas na pero inabot pa til last tuesday (around 3 weeks waiting time).. then 3pm suposedly labas na sya pero dahil sa trapik daw 530pm na dumating from the plant in cainta, it took 30 mins para sa carwash and 45 min para sa tint tapos around ten minutes lang after the tint release na kami (habang nag tint inayos na ung papers for release kaya mabilis lang ung actual release) =). ung sales rep ok naman di kmi iniwanan til narelease unit... would like to join the strada club =) sana lang po magkaron lang me free time.. =) bukas binyagan ko na sa putikan sa farm subukan ko ung 4x4 =) medyo mahirap po magpost tagal mag load =)..

no sir... no gasoline variant has been launched here... the other countries i could think of that has the gas variants too are Aussie and NZ. they have BOTH the 2.4 4G64 (currently found in the Fuzion) and the 3.5 V6 6G75.

Ideally, to go with the times, the appropriate gas engines if ever MUST be the 2.4 4G69 MIVEC (currently found in the Galant SE and Grandis) and the 3.8 V6 6G76 MIVEC!

but gasoline variants for a pickup truck was not successful here. Toyota did this with the Hilux - the 2.7 VVT-i G variant in 4x2 and in A/T in 2005-2008. It was replaced instead with the 2.5 G D-4D and A/T. If MMPC would like to do this, i would imagine a GLS variant in 4x2 drivetrain with A/T and the 2.4 4G69 MIVEC engine.

hello sir NTYCE, im not too sure if anyone replied/PMed at your post.

to this date, i haven't heard of anyone upgrading their brakes considering that the Strada and the Montero Sport lineup has a similar brake system. but in case there is, they would either post it here or the TSCP Strada Mods. HTH and regards to everyone there...
