Sir elwynvn, wala naman major problem ang bridgestone HTs. Actually different car makers install these on their vehicles like Toyota Fortuner/Hilux, Ford Everest ata. Tahimik sa hiway. The recommendation I made was for someone who wanted to upgrade tires. Kumbaga, "I will not buy this again" recommendation. Eto lang pansin ko sa Bridgestone HT: mabilis mapudpud, manipis ang sidewall. Parang nakakadagdag sa body sway. One definite improvement I noted when I replaced them was better grip/cornering.

this I can attest to even before pa with our older cars ....so what I did when our unit came out of the casa the next day we've replace it na with mickey ATZ's para magandang price pa mabenta yung bridgestone HT's

but for the bridgestone AT's naman IMO one of the best tires in the market, I would choose it anytime over Dunlop's or yokohama's...

Mga sir. sori di pa ako marunong maglagay ng pics eh. anyway, ill share stories about my strada. I got my Strada 2.5L GLX last june 2008. When I was about to leave the casa (Citimotors Alabang), I noticed na meron syang peklat sa bandang harap. So we scheduled it to be repaired. Pinabalik nila sa akin sa casa and after 1 day ok na sya.

Anyway, ok naman ang performance niya so far. Kaya lang nung mga 3rd month nya, I noticed na merong tumutunog sa bandang likuran. Parang may squeaking sound (kapareho ng tunog ng mga jeep and fiera). May nakausap ako na owner din ng strada while I was waiting sa casa. Ang sabi nya yun daw talaga ang sakit ng strada. Sabihin ko daw na kailangan palitan ang silencer kit. At that time hindi pa masyado malakas so I think what they did was just to put oil on the silencer kit. After a month, sobrang lakas na ng tunog. I guess they replaced the silencer kit kaya nawala ang tunog. I dont know if this also happened to any of you.

Another thing. I noticed na a couple of times nagkaroon ako ng instances na parang biglang dumulas yung clutch na feeling. This first happened to me as I was going up an overpass. I was in 2nd gear and medyo humahataw ako then biglang hindi na lang sya nagrespond for about 2 to 3 sec. Mahirap iexplain pero parang yung feeling nya na inapakan mo yung clutch. Dinala ko sa casa and tried to explain it kaya lang as of the moment mga 3-4 times ko pa lang naeexperience ito. Meron na bang ibang nakaranas ng ganito sa inyo? What I did was pina note ko na lang sa records ko sa casa para just in case na magkaproblem ako regarding that and wala na yung warranty, then pwede ko sila habulin.

So far, ok naman ang overall performance nya. Fuel consumption depends on my type of driving. On the average 9km/L na pinakamalakas and 10-11 km/L ang normal driving ko.

Last December inakyat ko ng baguio yung ride ko. Hinataw ko sya sa SCTEX kaya lang 170 km/hr lang talaga ang top speed ko. Pero the handling talaga is super stable. Twice ko na nasubukan ang handling nito and I can tell you personally pag nagkita kits tayo how stable ang handling ng Strada.

Anyway correct me if Im wrong. Last time on my way back from baguio, meron nakikipaghabulan sa akin na 3.2L GLS. Nagtataka lang ako kung bakit hindi sya makahabol sakin (of course hindi ito sa sctex ha). My theories are: (1) since manual ako and matic sya, nahihirapan sya with the overtaking (2) even if the GLS have a stronger engine, compensated din with the weight difference since 4x4 sila. or (3) banoobs lang talaga yung nagdrive nung GLS. hehehe.

Wow, another car sold by Jessa. Black is nice, just ask TP. Just like what Ian mentioned above, just check out everything about the car.
Here are the complaints from a few people:
1. uneven height
2. steering if there are any noise when you turn both sides.
3. check clutch to see if its to your liking
4. transmission goes in well in 1st and 2nd gears, or better yet, check all gears.
5. fit and finish of interior and exterior (if OC ka lang sir)
6. all manuals
7. and just enjoy the STRADA!

I think your referring to the situations other owners have experienced and posted it here several thread ago....yung parang hindi kumakagat yung clutch when you trying to shift gears?...if this is the case, I myself already experienced it alot of times when our strda was still new..and then about 5 months after I guess the "get used to it technic" took that away truned out that medyo malalim yung clutch ng strada than my previous drives kaya naninibago ako.....

but after 10 months or so another thing that I did was I told my mechanic to adjust the clutch to make it shallower so that It would be more comfortable driving because the fact that Im not that tall plus having a shallower clutch makes it easier to shift faster and better and when someone is bullying you on the road the shallower clutch adds up on putting that bully from your front windshield to the farthest of your rear view mirror....just like what I did a week ago to a 3.0D4D HILU* (galing naman, patong patong yung shallower hehe)

from a first hand story a friend told me that he already clocked 190kph on his 2.5GLX and even told me that "ang lakas na pala ng hangin sa labas pag 190 takbo"

Nagtataka lang ako kung bakit hindi sya makahabol sakin (of course hindi ito sa sctex ha). My theories are: (1) since manual ako and matic sya, nahihirapan sya with the overtaking (2) even if the GLS have a stronger engine, compensated din with the weight difference since 4x4 sila. or (3) banoobs lang talaga yung nagdrive nung GLS. hehehe.

for your 1st theory, IMO I think that the difference between manual and automatic "on the road" can only be seen on the acceleration but when it comes on reaching the topend or "rektahan" for me there's not much difference anymore

for your 2nd theory, please do confirm what is the unit you saw. because as what the majority knows the GLS has same engine as yours the GLX which justifies your experience however if its a 3.2 4m41 that would be a different story

ilang beses ko na ring gusto masubukan ang gls/glx pero so far pag may nakasabayan ako, parang pinagbibigyan ako lagi hehehe..siguro dahil kuya niya ang 3.2 ..i think the 2.5 since belt ito mas mabilis pero malakas syempre ang 3.2, we used to own 2nd gen. strada, masasabi ko iba talaga ang feel ng timing belt parang gasolina kung tumakbo compared to timing chain 3.2..however i believe 160 hp has a lot more to give pero it seems to me na nili-LIMIT ng mitsu ang speed nito? nakita ko sa youtube 3.2 umabot ng 200kph pero sa spain ata yon, nagulat ako di ko pa nasusubukan yon sa 3.2 namin, the most i've done is 180 wala kasing expressway dito sa amin.
