Jet A-1, Nice lift you have with your strada. How did you manage a 2inch lift sa front ng strada mo? Spring upgrade or spacer? How about the camber and caster hindi ba apektado? Thanks!

The spring mount? ( the part of the shock where it meets the coil spring) is welded higher by 2 inches than those of the stock shock and this gives the truck the extra lift. I installed hangers/shackles at the rear to compensate for the lift at the front. I had the tires aligned after and the mechanic made some minor adjustments.

Ride's a tad stiffer, but me and my usual pax don't mind. If anything, I'd like to see the civic's ride improve compared to my truck. Reason is that one has high expectations with the car while the truck is easily forgiven in this department.

Dadz, post mo naman pics ng 255/85/r16 mo. Di ba sumasayad yung likod nung goma sa fenders on a full turn kasi yung 75 ko e akala ko max na yun. TIA!

Hindi naman simasayad kasi naka lift kit ako na 3" sa front, i will post soon taposin ko muna lahat nag modsa para maganda at me suspence hehehehehhehe.

Sir Ranch * The 2008 GLX has a 205/80/R16.. I don't know for 2009 model if they change the spec of the tire.. you can change this up to 245/70/R16 without changing your mags.. one the member here puts 265 to his GLX R16 mags i forgot his tsikot handled name... 265/50/18 is good but 265/40/18 baka masyado na matagtag.. but still its you decision what ever you like to put on your truck...

Pink Floyd here. Newbie in the group abut oldie as a Strada Owner! Acquired my Black GLX November last year and only this time I accidentally saw this forum. Im glad that theres a place like this for Strada owners! Just want to say Im more than satisfied with my truck!!! Its been more than a year but still performs well. No problem except for the squeaking sound from the suspension. Nothing a loud music can fix! More power to the group!
By the way attached is my workhorse with some of its upgrades. Basically, fender flares and tires; Dunlop AT3 265/70/16. Just want my unit to be simple as possible. (Probably because of the budget)

mga sir, meron na bang ABS ang ride nyo? kasi sa akin wala gls sports pero sa Brochure meron ABS, i just found out when i brought my unit to MMC for check up. sabi ng SA dealers option daw... Mga sir can u help me with this one...tanx

Sir ThePatriarch, read your post regarding Big Bert's Optiguard Paint Protection Program for your black Strada. Want to have mine treated with it too. Ang daming swirl at scratches kasi. Ang hirap talaga magmaintain ng black! Anyway, tanong ko lang po sir kung mawawala yung mga swirl marks at scratches if I have my unit treated with Optiguard Paint Protection. Want to have it always looking brandnew!.

in the first place, ABS+EBD is an electronic device that is installed in the brake system while it is on assembly at the PLANT. So why would that be an option on the DEALER's LEVEL? AFAIK, the GLS Sport has standard ABS+EBD. The website ([SIZE=1]seems to be more updated now[/SIZE]) seems to indicate it as a Standard Feature and NOT as a Dealer Option. Heres proof:

im just curious po... heres a question for you: as you turn your key to the ON position, look at the instrument cluster. is there any indication of ABS in there po?

By the way mga sir, bakit kahit anong ingat ko sa truck ko, meron akong nakikitang madaming maliliit na dimples sa cover ng cargo. Di ko nga alam kung bakit. Pero still thankful kasi sa buong body wala! Except for the swirl marks at minor scratches.

bout swirl marks problem, trying waxing twice a week if you got time..

For an engine of this size, i truly believe this is has a timing chain already.

Regarding sa Optiguard Paint Protection, kaya nya tanggalin yung minor swirl marks and scratches... pero kung malalim na talaga, baka hindi kayanin.

Sa weekly mini EB naman, we opted to transfer venue sa Metrowalk because of parking concerns... we usually hang out sa Bacolod Chicken Inasal...
