New Mitsubishi Strada [ARCHIVED]

It happened to my 3.2L MT last week this sudden power loss, still my wife was able to drive slowly until she reached the casa and their diagnosed was due to the DIRTY fuel. They removed & clean the fuel tank, replaced the filter & brought back to normal.
Its quite discouraging driving diesel here in Pinas, think the 2.4L petrol engine of Triton is a good option but sorry its only in Thailand, Land down under & Middle East. But anyway, still I trust my slave Strada.

yes, sir... we just have to be a bit more careful with the fuel....

the 2.4 is the 4G64 presently found at the Mitsubishi Fuzion... here is hoping they will produce it the Strada/Trition with the 2.4 MIVEC 4G69 found at the Grandis/Galant 240M/SE...

just wondering since marami na nagka problema due to dirty diesel what diesel brand are you using? kasi noon im using petron but may 5% kasi sa hsbc kaya nag shift to caltex

hi even wala yan sa strada ko but encountered that sa civic but i think they changed the spring sa clutch(inside cabin, spring responsible for the clutch pedal to return) paki check nlng sa casa sir and pls do update us para in case in the future maw magka ganyan na prob.

But I think I have a different situation, kasi sa labas ko naririnig yung springing clutch sound and hindi dun sa loob...Well I sure wish this is only a minor glitch dahil wala naman ako nararamdaman na masama with regards to the clutch"s performance....I already asked the casa and they said that Observe ko muna daw then pag may nangyaring kakaiba dalin ko nalang daw...

okay hope nothing goes wrong. yup already fitted them and pina nitro ko rin. im worried lang na malaki effect sa FC ko. but the ride was way way better btw the tires are 235-85-16 parang mabigat. hehe and since talking about sa tires how many psi kinarga mo? sa aking kasi is 35 sa front and 33 sa back.

I also wanted to ask you something regarding din po sa parts..

about naman po sa steering column,

would you think po ba na kaya madaling mag knock yung mga nakakabit sa mga strada dito sa RP is that the steering column that was put to the LHD strada is specifically designed for the RHD? or its just that the Steering colums that was sent here sa atin has a lower quality rather than the ones that are being sold there in thailand?

kasi po sir I already heard alot of owners replaced their steering columns 2 times already including me but for ones palang po, and still the knock still comes back after a few thousand KM, so maybe po kung yung steering column dyan sa thai is more durable than the ones that they replaced for the knocking ones which they also claim na sourced out din from thailand.....might as well po siguro pwede ring mag pa order sa inyo when the warranty expires and if the knocking still comes back....medyo mahal din po kasi yung column I got the warranty receipt it was priced for 8k++Php

i read the thread about d4d engine, madalas sila may problem sa injector pump, parang reincarnation ng trooper issues.

wla bang nagpalit na ng injector sa 3.2 engine ng strada here, im just worried na bka sirain din yun injector natin. We also owned trooper 2001 and ang sakit sa bulsa at sa isip. two times ng napalitan

katakot pla bumili ng fortuner, its my choice kasi over sa MS if ever we sell our trooper. Para maibang brand naman. thanks

Bro, di maganda experience ko w/ caltex. bumubuga ng black smoke once in a while. Never noticed it w/ Petron.

A friend of mine last year got this probs. Maybe Mitsu has rectified already. Please read below.

MMC Car Poland has told the country’s consumer protection office UOKIK it is recalling 874 units of the Thai-made Mitsubishi L200 pick-up, in a move to check for a possible steering glitch.
The affected vehicles were produced in Thailand until June 2007.

NIIICEEEE!!! IMO I like the honeycomb grills better than the other facelift, which still maintains the aggressive macho face plus the new front bumper sweeet!, Unlike the other one the looks kinda pimp hehe, Though I think it would look good on a lowered version with matching 20's on...haaay ang ganda talaga ng Strada:2hearts:/Triton:inlove:
