May ABS ba siya? Ang ganda ng porma parang rockstar.
May side door mouldings na din like the DMax. Yung Hilux walang door protection.

October 10th, 2006 08:13 AM #356cardo, maraming wala sa GLX. it is basically a stripped down version..
wala yung multi-information display sa dash, no power rear window, no flares, no foglights, black front bumper, no rear bumper, no rear bed protector, pero meron siya nung bar sa bed to divide it from the windows (i don't know what it is called but uso siya sa mga pick-up dati)
the things i noticed on the new strada that i didn't like are: the door paneling is purely plastic and very plain; the mt stick is very high (i can easily control the radio with my fingers when the gear is in 1,3, or 5); the seats are hard; the tires are bridgestone HTs; and it seams that there is too much space for the dirt to come in from the front wheel wells to the engine bay (ala gen2 crv)
pros are the stereo has an ipod interface via a wire sa glove compartment, great looking guages, the muliti-information display, front and rear windshield defoggers and its very good looks.

"Mitsubishi unleashes the next-generation of pick-up with the Strada. Not anymore a workhorse, it's a practical family vehicle. It's a looker with its Pajero Dakar inspired nose and curvy body. Inside, it's very car-like with the opulent dash and sporty details. Under the hood is a Euro-2 compliant diesel with common rail injection--a clean leader in its segment. Safety doesn't take a back seat on the range topping GLS too."

"Mitsubishi Motors Philippines announced the launching of the all new Strada 4x4 pick up. This is already the 4th generation of the L200 series and Mitsubishi Motors is confident that with its new styling and outstanding performance it will again be a top choice in the 4x4 pick up segment. It can be recalled that the previous Strada model introduced in 1997, was the best selling 4x4 pick up for seven consecutive years.
The all new Strada has evolved not just as a pick up, but also as an alternate everyday workhorse vehicle which can be used for business, family and recreation. With this, Mitsubishi Motors gave it a fresh and exciting styling, superb running performance, best in class cabin roominess, a comfortable ride and SUV interior styling and trim."
"With regards to performance, the all new Strada is equipped with the new 2.5 liter 4D56 Mitsubishi Direct Injection Diesel with Hyper Common Rail DOHC 16-valve Turbo Intercooled engine. Mitsubishi Motors has used the bore and stroke of the proven and reliable 4D56 engine and strengthened its internal components to withstand the additional power that results from the DOHC, 16-valve and Direct Injection Hyper Common Rail System. Maximum power output from this 2.5 liter engine is at 136PS * 3,500 rpm and maximum torque is 314 N-m * 2,000 rpm. The adoption of the DI-D Common Rail system enables the all-new Strada to deliver high output, flatter torque curve, low fuel consumption, clean emissions, and quiet operation. This new Direct Injection Diesel Common Rail engine is already Euro-2 compliant and is properly matched with the current diesel fuel in the country."

Hmmmm..hindi kaya underpowered for a big body ang 136Hp? Almost the same lang ito ng Dmax ah. Tho more torquey at 314Nm.
Good to know nito, maka order nga. Paubos na yung windshield washer fluids sa mga units ko.
