Kakabasa ko lang ng manual ng HU. It's a JVC, model KD-G725. To be able to use your Ipod with it, you need a connector (KS-PD100) that is sold separately. I'm now trying to look for this connector.

Pero baka naman may PIE at PERIPHERAL solutions for this. I will find out.

kahit wala na yung connector, pwede mo gamitin iPod mo via the USB port.... kung ayaw pa rin talaga, have your HU serviced at the JVC service center....

My HU is kenwood and there's a USB cable at the glove compartment but I haven't tried using it.

    C2LLN,
I understand that there in the UK there's only the 2.5L engine due to the strict EU4 regulations. But in the ANIMAL model, the horsepower rating is higher (up to 160hp). Can you tell me more about this and how can this be achieved? Is it due to the ECU?

    Best regards!

Mga Sir, I was also dreaming of having new Strada in exchange on my current ride (my brod want to have it). Gusto ko ang porma ng Strada ngayon. Any comments sa new Strada if you have? how about both negative and positive side compare sa DMax, HiLux and Frointer.

The ride of the strada is ALMOST like a car. When there are bumps on the road, they are a little bit more magnified compared to cars. But, again compared to cars, there are other obstacles that you just don't feel at all.

i asked my uncle, who works for mitsubishi, how they were able to make the ride so comfortable. He says that the leaf springs are wider and longer. Furthermore, since the cab was made bigger, the center of gravity went back to the rear of the pick-up a little bit. It sort of has the same effect as putting a sack of sand in the bed.

that's why we bought a strada... it's the most comfortable pick-up in the market. pero meron lang ako narinig sa tito ko na sobrang nakakagago... may nakausap daw siya na owner ng white na strada na bago rin, sabi sa kanya matagtag mga strada natin. hindi raw pick-up yun kapag hindi matagtag.

Value for your money ang strada. Dami nice features na wala sa iba like the multi info display, power rear window, ABS, dual airbag etc na wala sa iba. Ganda legroom ng strada and most of all carlike yung ride nya. Check the reviews of senior tsikoteers sa ibang thread. Dun mas detailed ang mga pros and cons. Good luck sa pagpili. At the end of the day it's your call.

The motorized sport lid costs 49.5k and the non-motorized is about 43k. I was supposed to get the sport lid but decided not to and instead bought the jumbo utility box with side openings (flat black color). It's more practical for me because it's easy to install and uninstall. Also, you can load something taller, like a refrigerator for e.g., which would not be possible for the sport lid.

My project for next year would be lightweight mags hehe... for faster acceleration, better fuel consumption, and stronger braking (not that the strada is lacking in those).

Agree that value for money talaga ang Strada! 1,100 kms run na ang GLA AT ko and will be bringing it in for service on thurday. Am completely satisfied with performance, comfort, smooth, easy and light to drive, relatively quiet engine, and fuel economy ( 9 km/liter for mixed hiway and city driving ). No kinks so far - keeping my fingers crossed!

In terms of power/ lamang pa rin ang Hilux and the new Ranger. But looking at the whole package including ride, comfort, added features - palagay ko mas ok pa rin ang Strada.

Mayroon din SRX sportslid ( non motorized ) at around P47K, which goes with sport rollbar w LED brakelight( CB706 ) P17K. Rollbar is available but SRX sportslid will still have to be a special order from Thailand.
