ayaw na I claim sa warranty, to the owner the original shocks is useless naman. Hindi siya happy sa performance ng original shocks. the rear sways on uneven roads making the vehicle unstable. This is common characteristics of low quality shocks. All his cars that can be fitted with OME he had it fitted so he is looking at changing it to OME na, but still under development pa so He is willing to wait, sacrifice lang dw siya muna.

as for the subs, we have fitted one under the two front seats. DLS 6" sub with a little modification sa seat height to make the box fit. BTW sa mga glx model owners na walang bedliner available sa sa carryboy ang bedliner.

Mitsubishi Strada tops 4x4 pickup segment

After introducing its all-new Strada 4x4 pickups late September, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has secured the number one position in the 4x4 pick-up category for two consecutive months.

According to the combined Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) reports, the all-new Strada has sold 158 units out of 267 units for that segment in September for a remarkable 59 percent market share. Furthermore, the all new Strada contributed 72 percent of the 4x4 pickup category, as it sold 252 units in October out of total 352 4x4 pickups retailed.

Froy Dytianquin, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines’ AVP for Marketing Services said: “We remain to be optimistic with the sales of the all new Strada for the coming months as we try to expand its usage. The all new Mitsubishi Strada was built not just as a pickup but also as an everyday work horse vehicle for business, family and recreation. Therefore Mitsubishi Motors gave it fresh and exciting styling, superb running performance, best in class cabin roominess, a comfortable ride and SUV interior styling and trim.” “I would like to invite everyone to visit any of our dealerships and test drive our new Strada to find out why it is fast becoming the choice in the 4x4 pickup category,” Dytianquin added.

It can be recalled that the previous model Strada was able to secure and retain market leadership of the 4x4 pickups for seven straight years from the time it was introduced in 1997 and straight to 2003. Now Mitsubishi is aiming to repeat or even surpass this feat given the all new Strada’s class leading features, good running performance and outstanding value for money proposition.

Aside from its very unique and distinct styling, the all new Strada features the latest Turbocharged and Intercooled Direct Injection Diesel (DID) with Common Rail Diesel engine that is tuned to run on locally available diesel fuel.

It also boasts of having the roomiest cabin for better riding comfort at the same time having the running performance found on expensive SUVs. The all new Strada is available at all MMPC dealerships nationwide with the following suggested retail prices: Strada GLX M/T: P1,050,000; Strada GLS M/T: P1,200,000; Strada GLS A/T: P1,250,000.

Also thought about new mags, but may just upgrade tires to 265 or 275x16 and keep the original mags which look good anyway and are sure to be durable. The owners manual specs indicate that 265/70x16 are ok. ...

I am thinking of changing rims and tires of my Pajero Gen III. Would you be interested in the stock mags with 265/65r17 tires? This is almost brand new and is only 1100kms. Think this will fit the new Strada, same height but slightly wider (and is original mitsubishi).
Thanks Ferdi. I want to continue using the original mags for the Strada, and will upgrade from 245 to 265 sometime next year pa. Thanks for offering. .

    Thumper,

Congrats on your nice ride. I will most probably put the tires up for storage (or sale) next week. If you know anyone who recently bought a strada and wants to upgrade to original mitsubishi (gen III) just refer to me via the forums.
How's the economy/mileage of the strada? I like the response of the commonrail.

Not surprising, since the regular 4D56 itself (from the Astron engine family) is a quiet-running diesel engine.

The image depicts the Outlander, which is actually based on the next gen Lancer's platform and not on the Strada's/Triton's.

Edit: Looking closely, the vehicle has a lot of resemblance to the Strada as well as shared front end and that fuel cap. Maybe this could actually be IT.

Which particular compoenent of the a/c kaya? Medyo malaking system iyan. Lots of small parts which can fail the whole system.

GLX is manual a/c diba? GLS yung full auto?
