dame pla prob strada....di ko inakala ganun. although squeaks at rear suspension pa lng naririnig ko, parang nakakakaba...yoko ng sakit ng ulo e.... tsk tsk tsk...
bro rancho rear shock is very good if i may give you a suggestion for your front you can use belstein but dont change you springs, medyo subok na yan combination na yan maganda siya comfort ride.
bro tancho_kuhako kung punta dito bro mo just tell me when and i can meet him and bring him sa mga store's my num is +66860166026 and +6629395349.
Bro wulf_geo as far as i know wala naman kaming ganyang problema sa steering mostly sa wam nag ECU but it's minor, sa suspension meron din iba kaso dito madali ang service since nandito na ang parts, sa squeek naman sa leaf suspension nilalagnyan lang nag sapi, but the triton dito we test it in a real off road kaya nakakapag taka kaka iba ang na feel namin sa mga na feel nag bro's natin diyan sa pinas.
bro downshiffter tibayan mo ang loob mo kaya mo yan.![]()
*dadz, thanks, hehe :D
sana na lang okay na yung nakuha ko na unit....pang harabas pa naman talaga ang function ng truck ko sa pang araw-araw.....
my uncle and bro purchased stradas a glx and gls sport. I asked them if they would recommend the strada since i am in the market for a new pickup and both of them answered with a resounding yes. they seem to be very happy with their units though my uncle did experience squeking leaf springs but it was easily rectified by the dealer using a silencer kit. therefore i am close to making up my mind - 3.2 strada gls sport -black. even the hilux had serious engine and brake issues. I also recall it had some high speed stability issues. so basically i guess it boils down to how the overall package of the vehicle is presented and in this case the strada package is the most compelling for me.
looking forward to that po...yes, no truck is perfect and everything has anything to be desired... the ranger is cramped and the dealer network has not been fully expanded, the dmax has too much perfume and the navara's design is not exactly my cup of tea... in fairness all pickups has their strengths too.
please update us with your ride... thanks...
*dadz, expect a package from me... i might as well be sending you the Mitsubishi's LINE-UP of the Philippines!
*wulf_geo, hello to you po... i hope that dadz's answer is good... in addition to that, MAYBE, the components used for the THAI market is different from that of the General Export Market... that could be one of the reasons why it is different... maybe sir dadz's can clarify.
Ganyan rin tpms ko and not only the spare but also the other tires' tpms. sasabihin nila na pumunta kayo sa winterpine pero pag dating niyo dun sasabihin nila kasama yung foreman nila na normal lang daw yun. that happened to me already. tapos pag may totoong leak yung tires ko like yung sa left rear ko, hindi naman naka-ilaw ang tpms. palpak. sobrang daming palpak. sa 1st month nga kumakabig rin manibela ko going right and i-aadjust lang nila sa ilalim yun. ang pangit nga rin na ng ride ko parang nag-dri-dribble. sobrang daming problema kabago-bago pa. buti ngayon free pa because of the warranty but after 3 years mukhang super gastos ng maintenance ng strada dahil sa maya't-mayang sira at pagloloko. hassle. nakaka-depress na mukhang ibebenta ko yung strada pag palapit na ng 3 years or after warranty time kasi with everything that's happening mukhang sakit ulo at sakit sa bulsa lang aabutin ko.![]()
thanks for the showthread! great ideas!but I can't attend the Eb... Im here in Mindanao, if theres a mindanao chapter please let me know
(I'll try to drop by whenever I'm in Manila)
I just paid for the flares, 3rd brake lights(?) and turbo charger last monday, i was wondering should I have it installed before i get the strada from the casa this tuesday or should I road test it for a couple of days before having it installed? (I heard kasi na natatabingi raw ang strada sa drivers side??) from past experiences kasi we had to return our nissan patrol after 2weeks kasi ayaw ng mag start ng engine and they had to replace it with another unit (wala na sigurong pag asang ayusin...) same with our honda crv... after using it for a week we had to return it to the casa (engine problems) baka kasi pag nagkaproblema ang strada and kailangang palitan ang unit di na puede kasi may mga accesories na...
I'm planning to put a sub at the back of the rear seats would this void the warranty?
any suggestions on how I can change the grill of the strada from black to silver?
thanks for all the suggestions!![]()
Hello, we are planning to get a strada GLX but till now wala pa rin color black. Sabi sa casa wala daw production ng mga units ngayon & is it true na madami daw binago sa strada kaya hinold ang production? Actually, after reading some of the posts here i'm kinda having 2nd thoughts na sa strada baka kasi ma experience ko rin same probsyet nakapag down na kami & we are just waiting for the unit.
I feel sorry sa mga nakakuha ng Gen 3 strada If these are the problems they've been facing karamihan nasa 15kms-20kms pa lang. I was gonna sell my strada Gen 2 that just hit 130 kms mileage for that Gen 3 but then i waited a little bit just to be sure if it wud be better move kc nung nakita ko yan naka coil spring na ang front suspension nyan d na torsion bar so un ang inayawan ko. Kc d talaga nagbigay ng sakit sa ulo ang strada ko. Farming(offroad to onroad) and ofcourse city use but mostly long distance kaya mataas na ang mileage. Pero sa totoo lang only change oil and few maintenance lang talaga sa aircon ang napa gawa ko. And that make sense sa halaga nyang mga P900t+ pa ata ung lumabas ang 2003. My point of view is for u guys to fight for making this vehicle a lemon car since major problem yang suspension and could lead to accident. Isipin mo panamn tabingi na may vibrations pa na naka takotakot.. I hope they will improve their next new release models sa strada!
piggyprincess = 245/70/16 are ok to your GLX this size must be the maximum.. if larger than this you probably experience the wiggling and sudden chage of track(Kabig).. please give us a feed back upon changing your tires. experience if any changes specially on the steering..![]()
* Sir Av8or - I sent several mails to MMPC regarding my complaint. I am very frustrated ryt now coz after several road test by MMPC engineers, they would still claim that the excessive feedback and steering wheel vibration i've been complaining since ss normal. Excessive steering wheel vibration and feedback is Normal to them when in fact the steering wheel already feels like you're holding a jack hammer!!! I have proven my point on all ocassions we had the road test and yet it's still normal to them. SH**.
I did not buy my strada just to feel all the road imperfection and suffer the excessive feedback ALL transmitted to my hands while driving. i am not exagerating when i said jack-hammer. It really feels like you're holding a jack hammer. They say it's the road condition, of course! what else!! I wouldnt complain if the road is smooth. That's why i bought a pick-up/truck and not a sedan precisely because of the belief that a pick-up/truck could handle rough road and smooth surface with relative ease.
I hope they're reading this. I told them one time to search this thread and learn from the feedbacks of their customers even though only a fraction are using online forums.
thanks.
My brother and I were thinking of buying 2 new Strada's this year. However, problems on steering, suspension, uneven height, and wobbly end, are too consistent to be ignored. Customers changing tires and suspension to fix the problem is not acceptable. Mitsubishi should take care of this. Medyo umaangat na sila but if they ignore customer complaints, pupulutin na naman sila sa ilalim. Sayang.
