sir av8or5, yung hood more on pang porma lang.. i think it will be a bit lighter than the original steel hood but not that much coz carbon and fiberglass mix yung materials.. pag pure carbon aabot tayo mga 25-30K sa end product, mahal na masyado plus may share pa sa mold, kaya dun nalang tayo sa mix para 16-17K lang.. sa design, im thinking of just copying the stock hood coz the shape looks good na, atsaka dumihin kasi sa engine bay pag naglagay pa tayo mga intake at butas, etc..

tancho_kuhaku, bro yung sa akin 265/60r18.. tamang tama lang, IMO sobrang liit tingnan pag 50 series, tsaka pag 245 di maganda tindig, mukhang bitin kasi di lalabas masyado yung goma, lalo na pag malapad rims mo..

update sa topak project ko.. found the stuff i need from the bodega this morning.. a V12 amp and velocity separates.. yung solobaric S12 muna lalagay ko habang di pa nakakabili ng maliit na sub sobrang laki lang nung box, isa n alang pasahero sa likod! papakabit ko na lahat bukas.. dalhin ko sa next EB para mapagtripan natin.. haha!

pinasukat ko sa carpenter namin yung rear space, nasa .9cubic foot yung total volume na possible without relocating the jack.. swak na swak sa vented box ng isang S8L7 para gumagapang yung bass.. masyado kasing matigas kung sealed eh.. atsaka mas mura kasi kung isa lang bibilhin.. hehe!

gusto ko din lagyan ng fender flares pero gusto ko yung basic na black ABS plastic lang, no paint. may nabibili po bang ganun dyan sa atin sa 'pinas? nagagandahan kasi ako sa contrast ng flat black fender flares sa silver na body tulad ng sa land rover LR3

On your question regarding the unpainted flares, yes meron po dito sa pinas nyan. Carryboy and Miggyboy both sell flares for the Strada. My unit is also silver with unpainted fender flares and you are correct in that maganda nga ang contrast between the black flares and the silver body .

Easy on pedal and brakes... don't go as far as 120kph and i think thats fast enough.. Maybe I'm the first strada owner here who recently changed the brake pad and refaced my brake disk...

Friendly reminders, it's not the car that has a problem but the driver itself.. Just like my nissan eagle share the same problem with the same driver and its me, coz i love to drive fast and that's the consequences...

Guyz. need help! What are the other coverage warranty of our strada ? Just in case... tnx..

hi everyone! i find your forum very interesting and informative. i've ditched my 2004 honda civic VTi-S last week and i finally found the guts to post a message here. dati kasi taga basa lang ako ng mga messages nyo. i am expecting to get my hands on a new 2008 silver mitsubishi strada GLX early next month pag uwi ko galing sa uae.

my plan is to replace the stock wheels with a slightly bigger set. yung tama lang, di naman sobrang laki at di naman kasing liit ng stock wheels. gusto ko din lagyan ng fender flares pero gusto ko yung basic na black ABS plastic lang, no paint. may nabibili po bang ganun dyan sa atin sa 'pinas? nagagandahan kasi ako sa contrast ng flat black fender flares sa silver na body tulad ng sa land rover LR3 (see photo below).



interested din ako na na lagyan ng utility box para may secured na lagayan ng gamit sa likod. i checked carryboy's website pero parang nalalakihan ako sa mga utility boxes nila doon at mukhang wala silang black coloured unit. meron po ba sa inyo may alam kung may iba pang brand na available dyan sa atin aside from carryboy? i fancy aeroklas' u-box pero mukhang sa thailand lang yata meron nyan (see image below).



if possible, papalitan ko din ng flat black door handle at side mirrors yung standard na crome ng GLX. anyway, those are my ideas of a strada ride. it would be great to hear feedbacks and leads from you. thanks for reading!

welcome to the thread sir. we hope you do get your ride soon. as per your questions, it was answered by some and if you back read, your question on the tool box was also answered about one or two pages back by boy25 as he has a similar toolbox installed.

sir, at what KM reading did you change your pads and refaced them discs? now on the warranty, please check your warranty booklet on the coverage. The question is too general. But basically warranty covers electrical, mechanical, and body. Again my answer is still vague, but best to refer to the warranty booklet.

the google search bar or the search button at the tsikot toolbar at the top right of every tsikot site is easy to use. to make it more efficient, your search string can start with "strada" and the item of your inquiry. example is "Strada G500 Canopy" or "Strada Sport Lid Motorized" or "Strada 18" Mags" and you will get your search results almost instantly!

it is because of our wide AT tires and the top lid that we installed sir. dont worry ganyan din fuel consumption ko sa city driving

I had my pads replaced at 30k kms but didn't have to reface the rotor. Mine is M/T. The A/Ts would have to have it replaced at 20-25k kms.

Regarding the squeaking sound in my leaf springs, well, they're gone now. I haven't had it oiled for about 4-5 months. Baka napagod din

yup sabi ko nga sa dad ko kaso pag canvass namin ng price sa 20s na tires nag backout xa kasi lagi kasi kami nag tra-travel ng long distances eh so madali lng ma wear out ung tires. hehe sayang...

ask ko na rin sir if ano brand sa window vizor mo?

sir wulf_geo, sisimulan palang bukas yung box.. so far iiwan ko muna na walang butas until i find a suitable sub.. medyo complicated yung design kasi ayaw ko alisin sa stock location yung jack. try ko post yung sukat pag natapos..

if you want pwede kita isabay ng gawa, eto rough costing
1.5pcs 3/4 plywood * 900 =1350
labor ng carpenter 2days =800

kaw na bahala maglagay carpet at terminals atsaka pagbutas ng sub depende sa gagamitin mo.. balak ko sakin 2inchWide x 8inchTall x 12inchDeep yung port..

on a side note, ang sakit sa ulo magpatugtog in SPL mode sa strada! ang daming nagra-rattle na mga tools at joints pag sumisipa yung bass.. nakakasira ng ulo! bwehehe! di ko naman malagyan ng dynamat kasi baka magvoid ng rust warranty.

sino pa ba dito naka subs na? parang mahina kumarga alternator ng strada, kumukurap yung mga ilaw pag sobrang bayo.. atsaka nagkabit ako dalawang nautilus na busina.. pag gabi nakapatay sounds at naka bukas headlights and aircon, pag bumubusina ako kumukurap din mga ilaw.. kulang kaya sa grounding?

question sa mga nagkabit ng mags... pag dinadala nyo for periodic maintenance sa casa binabalik nyo ba yng stock mags? isip ko kasi baka pag nakita nila na iba yung mags baka i-void nila ang warranty sa suspension eh.. may makakapag-clarify ba nito?
