sir, if I remember all the thread regarding this, pwede naman po kayo punta directly sa DZ racing, but what sir Bobcas wanted is to come up with the list of those interested so with more people buying, the prices would be cheaper than if one person buys alone..its like buying in bulk.

eto po DZ racing address: DZ Racing (Banawe cor. Sta. Catalina) 4155418 / 4160619

I guess you already answered your first concern on the "kapag nalubak parang kuryente".

On the stability concern, you need to drive the strada in various road conditions and various speeds. I do not think the casa will allow you to test drive that far. If you have a friend na me strada, request mo na lang na gawin ka nyang driver for a day or two so you get a first hand experience. Otherwise you have to rely on the testimonies and opinions of the different people here, but remember these may be subjective.

The clamps also sometimes rub in the sides against the leafs, I have not noticed if the clamps on the strada have plastic inserts. It is best to use graphite grease to lubricate inter leaf liner, bushings.
Anong brand ng graphite grease ang recommended nyo, sir? Readily available ba ito sa market? Pwedeng DIY lang ang pag-apply nito?

Pasensya na madami akong tanong. I think this is the best way to learn.

Just went to DZ Racing this am & clarified their pricing. It turns out there was a miscommunication in our text messaging over the weekend re: the mid & rear skid plates. The mid skid plate refers to the propeller shaft only, while the rear skid plate refers to the axle housing. For the transmission, he has no price yet. Their price is the lowest they could give and comes with the installation. They say it is supposed to be bolt-on acc. to autoexim. This would be the revised list of the for the skid plates, kindly update your orders esp for those who signed up earlier, sir ooba99 & boz:

    1. bobcas - front, mid & rear
    2. Boz - front lang

sir, we cant actually assure you that the handling of the strada is not faulty. For one, we are not engineers, nor test drivers for slolam. However, I would suggest you read up on test articles on manueverability, slolam testing, emergency manuevers, etc...

I also suggest you have a test drive on the vehicles you are considering. Ask the SA to let you drive it in bad roads, good roads, highway, or city driving.

Then re-assess if strada is the right pickup for your lifestyle.

So far, I haven't heard of any strada owner's selling their vehicle for the reason of bad handling. I have already experience bad transmission in mine unit, but I haven't regretted buying the strada.

Only a few have posted bad handling on rough roads, but we have to consider factors such as road condition, tires, drivers ability, etc. Nevertheless, people have also indicated possible remedies with that.

Again, the decision still lies with you. good luck sir.

Ganito lang yan bro. Maniniwala ka ba agad sa akin kung sabihin ko na I've driven my Strada in rough roads, beyond 100kph, w/ super smooth handling? Do not rely on just a few experiences. Parang sa medisina rin yan. You cannot rely on a poorly designed clinical trial. Kaya mahirap din maniwala sa mga reviews. Dami source of bias.
As I've experienced along SLEX, I felt the "sway" or swerve while travelling around 80-100kph, but that was after I hit a large concrete block, yung nasa shoulder near the exits. So far, sa mga bumps and potholes, wala naman ako experience na ganun. Drave also mentioned na wala sya experience while travelling to Samar. Anyway, drive safely pa rin.

Ako nga bumili kahit walang previous feedbacks . Parang leap of faith lang. I had 2 mitsu vehicles before, an L300 and an adventure, and they were quite reliable. So I kinda trusted the mitsu name.

Well, so far, I've learned to accept the fact that it's not a car, so the handling is very different. It's also not a racecar, though most of the time I'm tempted to use the power. The suspension is tweaked for comfort, therefore, there are corresponding drawbacks, as has been described, but can be remedied.

I've actually learned to adjust to its idiosyncracies, but I was never put in a situation that have placed my life in any danger in my 30k kms driving it. The only problem that I had was the steering column which was gladly replaced.

I still love her, in spite of.....

We are very open when it comes to our rides here. We give feedbacks, good or bad. But I would say that the majority love their ride.

I'm very happy that the pick-up brands are trying to outdo one another. It's the consumer who gains from it.

All the cards are on the table, bro, it's your choice.

Hi Guys! Just want to warn about our spare tire! Mine was stolen today or yesterday? ( Di ko kasi na notice eh, pero kahapon i was at park square 1 sa sm makati and today i was at tagaytay). Anyway, if you have chain w/ lock, try to put it na lang on the tires. Sabi kasi ng sales rep from Diamond baka "Donut Gang" Daw yun. Guys, Meron na bang nanakawan dito? Or Ako Pa lang? . . . Buti na lang sinagot okay sa insurance ko yung pagclaim ng stolen spare tire, nonetheless, i have to buy a spare tire today because i'll be getting the new tire by monday pa. Just warning Guys!
