hello guys!

had this experience kahapon. i was trailing this white gls sport strada. pa overtake na sana ako when his overfender suddenly was ripped of. i think he was travelling 160kph. buti nalang hindi ako natamaan. did one of you guys experienced this already? kc where planning to get the 3.2 strada. now im having doubts of its quality. meron din kc ako nakita dito banda sa amin na wla na yung kabilang overfender nya. actually ive seen 4 cars already na kulang ang overfender including yung kahapon.

This is not suppose to happen. ako naman had diffrent experience to my GLX strada sa overfender ko. every time i use my strada with the maximum speed of 130 to 140Kph i noticed that the rubber on my overfender are medyo nakaangat.. baka paglumampas ako ng 150Kph ganun din mangyari sa overfender ko.. patay yung 7k

yup..that happened to one tsikoteer here...his handle name is louchua. he had it replaced for free.

it's not suppose to happen, unless, hindi pulido pagka install...regarding the speed...i bet moxxxs can vouch for his...he has a GLS and a speed deamon in our group..but no reclamo so far on his fender flare.

regarding sa fender flares... the glx and gl models do not have it and usually those are installed by accessory shops... kung hindi maganda pag-install there is a possibility of it being ripped off kung mabilis ang takbo mo.

in my case, mine was installed by miggyboy.... and several times ko na napatakbo ng 180kph, ok naman siya... IMO, depende na yan sa paglalagay.

now kung sa gls ang matanggal, baka naman hindi factory defect but due to human error... marami din kasi puede na factors... so it would be hasty to conclude na lemon ang strada... thinking aloud lang po...

anyway na alarma lang po kc ako kc 4 na yung nakita ko na gls strada na natanggal yung fender.

sa tingin nyo ano kaya ang magiging improvement ng strada this 2nd quarter ng 2008?

Sir av8or5, miggyboy sir.. so far ok pa naman.. i was very much satisfied to my fender flair kaya time to time check ko yung mga rubber edge and the screw.. Nice video sir !.. ganda talaga strada natin... last saturday nagtry ako humbol sa leslie kaya lang late na talaga with my wife n 2 kids.. namasyal nalang kmi sa tagaytay..

Tama si sir ThePatriarch.. we never know what really happening to our vehicle specially on the parking area.. baka nasandalan at nagkaroon premature crack.. that crack will start ripoff your fender flair at hig speed.. imagine 160kph of wind trust.. I remember last sunday in tagaytay pagbalik ko sa parking area.. 3 babae yung naka pose pa at naka yapos sa hood ng strada ko.. ganda kc strada natin Sir ThePatriarch (Black Beauty).. natawa nalang ako.. Syempre deep inside very proud!

sir jondy, i also tried the units that you mentioned and i was really happy with what the strada was(hehehehehe medyo biased na ba?) but kidding aside, other brands would boast of more horsepower, more bedspace, better ride, etc... but the bottom line of it all is really how happy you feel and how comfortable the vehicle is when you're driving it.... the other trucks are driving like trucks.. the strada is short of driving like a car!!! if you have the extra funds go and get a GLs sport!

all i can say is.... you won't go wrong with a strada.. it has the looks, the muscle and the attitude!

negative aspects of owning a strada:

1. attracts too much attention
2. spare tire not secured enough
3. for glx models, tires too thin
4. stock horn sounds like a wimp
5. budget draining because of too much cool after-market accessories
6. porma is not worth to be used as a work horse... sayang!
