Thanks. I got the mesh grill from cisco88 who got it from Thailand. 4k benta nya pero may discount. But I dont recommend since poor quality, may areas na deformed na due to heat (?). Baka ibalik ko rin stock grill.

to those having problems with the handling of their Stradas in rough roads....I also experienced the same problems last weekend when I drove to the province....IMHO, I think this is caused by the stock Highway tires (HT) installed by Mitsu in the Strada. HT tires are basically for paved road/highways.....hence, handles very differently in rough/dirt roads.

Those using All-Terrain tires (AT) or even Mud tires (MT) in their Stradas, do you also encounter handling problems when your driving in rough roads??? Please confirm. Thanks guys.

I have BS A/T 265/70R16 and more negative offset mags. There was some improvement in the handling. The rear wallowing disappeared, most likely due to stiffer sidewalls of A/T tires. The drawback for bigger tires is slower acceleration and worse FC.

Sir Moxxxs/ Delete 250.. i brought my unit to the casa last monday for the thorough checkup regarding steering and handling issue and the manager was kind enough to let me test drive another new 2008 GLS sports. the other unit behaves the same, the truck danced like crazy on rough terrains.. last sat, when i went to the farm with almost 300 kg cargo, the same.

just today, i went to malaybalay, bukidnon - typical asphalt road with repaired and touch-up sections here and there and still the steering vibrates even on small road imperfection ultimately vibrating the front end. much worse when you hit even a small pothole, where the front tires twist changing the trucks direction at times. i couldnt drive past 80 kph on this type of road. i dont feel safe. i already relayed my concerns to the dealer. serious concerns actually over steering,handling and safety.

im just sharing. hope u all understand. i brag about the ride quality and comfort of my former strada, my 2001 strada not this one. i just hope a solution is in sight. maybe this latest batch of stradas have something not right, i dont know.

Sorry bro, I just couldn't relate to what you're experiencing. I have been to Ilocos Norte once, and Catbalogan, Samar 4x (really bad roads), with speeds sometimes reaching 120kph on some smooth stretches (actually, smooth is not smooth at all in provincial highways), and I couldn't seem to recall any lane changing behavior. Road surface kickback, yes, due to the rack-and-pinion steering, but not enough to cause instability.

Is this due to the 17" mags? Lesser tire sidewall height = lesser road vibration absorption, aggravated by relatively thin tires?

I'm just guessing here.....

Got my black GL last Friday. Had the Mags and tires change at Evangelista and the fender flares, tail light and headlight cover installed at Miggyboy. So far no regrets on getting the strada. attach are pics of my ride. Stepboard is still for delivery. Am still looking for rear bumpers and bed cover.

this happened to me just now. as i went to mcdo drive through, i slid down the driver's side window and paid and received my order...ayaw na tumaas nung window ko kahit anong gawin ko. pinipilit ko parin and dahan dahan sya tumataas and i was even helping it go up pero hirap talaga. nung nakauwi na ako, i still was helping it up until finally naakyat ko rin pero hindi ko na ma-check kung maayos parin ang baba and akyat niya kasi baka magloko ulit. our pajero also acts this way pero nung luma-luma na and hindi kasing bago pa lang ng strada. my strada is only 4 months old tapos nagloloko na sya ng ganito.

If we can pull our orders together we might get a discount from the owner. For the front skid plates (oil sump) its Php8.8th. Will know the price for the other plates as soon as their supplier in Thailand replies.

kung JVC HU mo 08 model yan..pareho tayo walang remote..pero yung sinasabi mo na babayadan para mag ka remote, pag kaka alala ko kung tama wala kasama remote yung model ng JVC HU natin..hndi ko na ma alala sagot nung SA namin..hehe

for 08 GLX unit, I think it's alpine. as far as I know, all radio units comes with remote control that is free of charge. maybe niloloko lang kayo ng SA ninyo to earn more.

for 08 GLS is JVC.

sorry..i stand corrected... depends on unit and when delivered..not all radios comes with remote.

*ericsiomai- yes, i do agree with av8or5- do have it checked with the dealer for warranty- this is a similar scenario with the outlander wherein the glass can hardly rise and some of the outie owners are frustrated when their tint got scratched!

EslonBlue that color on the sports lid is not a sticker I had it painted on. As for the list of those interested on the skid plates kindly be the one to do the thread, just indicate which plate the signee is interested in.

Alainroyce, the plates are not yet available. Sill waiting for the complete price list from Thailand before placing the order. As for the price haggling, lets see how many would place the orders before I talk to them.
