Third (3rd) EB of The Strada Club of the Philippines
February 2008 EB

Due to the results of the polls in our yahoogroups, we will hit three birds with one stone on our next EB. The Third (3rd) EB of the Strada Club of the Philippines will be on the 23 of February 2008 (Saturday). It will be a mini fun run + car blessing eb + tsikot.com GEB.

Meeting time will be at 2:00 p.m. sharp at the Mocha Blends in Ortigas Ave. Extension which is in front of "The Gate" (the venue for the tsikot GEB). Then we head up to Antipolo by convoy for the blessing of our Stradas. After the blessing, we shall proceed back to Mocha Blends and assemble the group for the tsikot GEB.

Again, all are welcome to join the EB especially those who missed the previous eb. To those who will not be joining us in the blessing of the Stradas in Antipolo can meet up with the group at the Mocha Blends around 5:00 p.m. We hope that everyone here will be able to attend especially the tsikot.com GEB.

Sir Patriarch, ganda naman ng rides mo, lalong tumulo ang laway ko dun sa cladding mo. 'Kano naman ang score mo dyan? Do they drill holes or just plain adhesives lang ang pagkakabit nyan? PhP8,500.00 body cladding, PhP7,000.00 fender flares... sa miggyboy pinakamura sa mga napagtanungan ko. No drills, plain adhesives lang pero super dikit. Particular kasi ako na wala drills para di mavoid warranty against rusts sa body. Dun sa engine natin, timing belt pa rin yata. Kung sa monday mo makuha strada mo, you can join us sa EB!

Question..pwede ba yang body cladding na sa sa mga GLS sport? meron na kasi small plastic strip yung stock? Will it fit under or over it?

ang alam ko, yung sa gls sport, adhesive lang din. kung ganon nga, madali lang tanggalin then install yung cladding. next eb, il measure kung saan nakalagay yung sa gls sport, baka puede ilagay na lang over yung cladding, hollow kasi ang loob nun

Kanina, nagpunta ako sa casa at nakita ko yung mga 2008 strada. Yung GLS sport, 17" na yung mags pero hindi ko gusto yung tires kasi 245/65R17 lang. Ibig sabihin, mas manipis kumpara doon na 2007 na 265/70R16. 3.2L engine with relatively thin tires ....hmmmm.......

If I have the '08 strada, my first upgrade would be thicker tires.

Have just read the tsikot news titled 'Mits. Strada Dominates 4WD Pickup Segement'...the GLS Sport models are indicated as 2.5Li only..typo?

Alam ko tsikot member din ito kaya aware siya sa strada club at thread natin. He told me they can also shipped the accessories to your place even if you can't go there. Yun nga lang hanap ka ng installer mo. Sabagay yung iba DIY lang naman.

naku sir bat ganun, na kaka badtrip yun ahh..alam ko sabi dati ng mitsu 17' mags pero hndi hndi ninipis yung tires..check ko sa tuesday pag labas nung unit..parang ms ok papala yung 07 na strada kung ganun..

sir question din regarding your tint and to other BOSB, 3M po ba tint nyo?balak ko kasi black yung tint ko yung hndi ako kita sa luob, tama ba na dark sa sides and medium sa windshield and sa rear?ang concern ko kasi baka mahirpan ako mag drive pag gabe, pag tumitingin sa side mirror..thanks

What is the disadvantage of having a thin tire? Di ba mas malapad, mas makapit pero mas mahirap magsteer. Kung manipis naman, madali ang pagsteer, pero compromise ang road hugging ability ng rig? Ganoon ba yon? Anybody from the BOSB/KISSers? Can somebody from the MMCP explain why do they have to change the tire profile of the 2008 Strada? Cost cutting ba to or what? Siempre kailangan natin ng explanation bakit ganoon.
