Hi Stubby, I fully agreed your point, only go to trusted station for top up.....
Actually i am shell supporter, from Sin to Phil....
it is true that, very much depend on the station, how they maintenance the underground storage tank, do they do the monthly or yearly cleaning ??? we dont know it......
I ever read one news from Malaysia, one station manager was caught, because he mix the low grade oil for better profit....
The reason i testing the caltex, because i saw their signboard like their diesel can clean up the engin.???
No offen to any brand....

hi chng238, just no to quick pressing of the gas pedal and no clouds of smoke will come out from our monty. i've been using shell diesoline ultra until one time where i need to pass this public FX so i really pressed hard and :thatsit: :bwahaha:
btw just choose stations that are not prone to flooding and you'll be alright.

July 8th, 2009 04:56 PM #4184regular cleaning of underground tanks? i doubt that very much chng. we really dont know. go to newly constructed stations as for sure the tanks are also new and clean. go to stations located in an elevated area as the underground tanks wont have water seepage since there wont be any flooding in the area. go to clean well-maintained stations as chances are they practice regular maintenance of their equipment and storages.
those caltex signboards to me are just marketing strategies...and looks like they got you buyin'.nothing wrong with that my friend! best still if you observe keenly and feel the difference on your ride.

I heard from a bunch of people who are use to diesel engines that TOTAL has the cleanest combustion.. i've never tested myself, but i heard it from a few different people. I don't know how great it is or even if its good, but the results is that the combustion is not as black/dirty as the big 3.

I like it, it is surely different and unique. Just thinking out loud, you can try to incorporate the silhouette of the Montero (as seen on the cover page of our Owner's Manual) on the logo and make the entire name of the club stand out more, a balance of the nationalistic design and the club itself and its car. At first glance, the logo suggested a pro philippines theme and only until you read the name of the club will you realize it is a club's logo, which might be the case when a non-Montero user sees it. Either way, a very nice logo. I for one would print it in a solid white color like apple's sticker (with proper edge redesign so it won't come out as just one solid piece).
No, but it was what sounded closest to Bill, bill. Ha ha ha!
