option 1 . sir you need to buy a mono jack same with any regular earphone jack as long as it is a MONO one ( better to buy the more expensive one so that there will be no chances of loose connection ), you have to solder the blue wire to the positive pole of the jack ( which is the center part ) , the black wire to the shaft to the jack at the side FOR THE GROUND or just simply connect to the ground of the HU.
and lastly the RED wire which is the ACC is also the same with the ACC wire of our stereo.
since when we pullled out the center console it was raining during that time, so we opted just to cut some part of the wire (OE REMOTE) and just simple connect the blue wire to the center wire of the OE REMOTE wire. Black wire together with stereo ground , and the RED wire to the ACC also of the stereo.

There is no need for RE-programming , we just simply turn the unit on. from my knowledge it was already program to match the steering wheel remote by winterpine.. lastly we do not have the knowledge or gadget to re- program the module.

it's just a logic that having the same brain ( module ) on different shoe (HU). so there are no conflict since the module is also a universal type. HTH

    GOT IT!
had my steering remote working. Pinaback-job ko sa installer and they did it without extra charge.

thanks for the help sir mikko!

    Hi Guys,

My name is Paul from Indonesia, and I'm a proud owner of Pajero Sport 4x2 Super Exceed 2009 (2.5). Been lurking around this forum since last June when choosing between this car and the Toyota Fortuner Diesel. Glad I made the right decision. Thanks to you all..

Ordered the car in late July 2009 and it took me a whole 3 months before it arrived. I can tell you though that the car is worth waiting for..

Some modifications that I've done to my Monty..

    + Wheel: Incubus 8
    + Tyre: Nankang 285/60 R18
    + Window tinting: Vkool + 3M + Huper Optik

+ Unichip by Dastek (Power is increased by 21HP * 2000RPM; Tourqe is increased by 63Nm * 2000RPM; City Driving Fuel Consumption before was 13.7L/100Km and now is 9.5L/100km - Very happy with the result. )

    Cheers!

    Welcome to Tsikot forums 541nts

Nice fancy truck there and awesome shots I might add.

Did your tailgate cladding come with the unit or did you add that up yourself?

    Thanks mate!

The tailgate cladding came with the unit.. I think our version of Monty is the same with the one in Thailand since the units are imported from there. No 3.2L version though..

Here's the official site for Pajero Sport by Mitsu Indonesia.. http://www.ktb.co.id/pajerosport/

How much (in $US) does the car cost you guys in Phil?

    Cheers!

Let's see: For the 4x2 (2.5) variant they currently quote me at P1,355,000. so divided by an estimated P47.00 that would be more or less $28,829.00.

    13.7L/100Km is the same with 100Km/13.7L = 7.3km/L & 100km/9.5 = 10.53km/L. HTH

Didn't get the chance to make a comparison for the FC before and after changing the wheels since I installed the both the chip and wheels on the same day. The FC before the installing the chip (and wheels) was 1:7 and now is 1:10.5

Shoot! It's much cheaper than what we've got to pay or the car here which is about US$40,000.00 (Rp. 370,000,000.00) for 4x2 and US$50,000.00 (Rp. 450,000,000.00) fot the 4x4. Both are the 2.5L version.
