re the piggyback systems, i asked a friend of mine who seriously considered putting it on his civic in canada. told me that he did calculations and even with the supposed gas mileage savings, it would take around 5-6 years to get back the price of having the system installed in the first place.
he opted not to have it installed. his logic being in 5-6 years hed be considering getting a new car anyways so useless din gas savings.
my take, well im still intrigued by tuning. but so far since im happy with the power output and fuel efficiency of my monty, im just going to wait for price of the technology to drop. prices are still steep and gas mileage savings still wont justify the investment. now if you can recover your investment in a year (ie lower system price) then that would be a different story
