Not sure about the brand but it works fine naman, may delay lang. I have this kind of setup after upgrading to DDX8032BT.

if this is the case, i don't think Maspro will charge P1k only. Ginza Autosound was offering me similar kit for P4500! (any brand of hu can work).

anyway, right now im looking at sound setup naman. im not the boom boom kind of person. i just want clear audio for when i try to study songs. im thinking of just upgrading the front speakers to seps muna and feel from there if i should go for a sub. any suggestions sa seps and sa rear door speakers? should i keep the rear door speakers stock?

for the front seps naman, what are good speakers that fit snugly with the stock enclosure. ive seen some people install new speakers and have the interior of their doors cut to fit the speakers... di ko kaya pacut ng metal :p are there seps that will fit snug without modifications???

hi sir teejay, glad to answer some of your questions. I had my soound setup yesterday. I got my amplifier (RFord Fozgate Punch) from my old setup sa landcruiser. But I had to leave the DLS speakers dun sa LC ko dahil can't put back the stock speakers anymore.

Kaya this time, since I want to maintain the option to return the stock speakers sa Monty if ever I need to, I told the installers to NOT cut or shave anything from the speakers or from the vehicle.

First, we had to line the doors with layers of sound damping material. RFord Fozgate Dead skin ang ginamit ko. Labor is kind of expensive kasi very meticulous gawin. But the thing works! Na-lessen ang engine and external noise that is heard inside the cabin.

continuation of my sound setup...

I used a pair of DLS R6A sep for the front. The tweeter installation is kind of straight forward. But the Front speakers needed a thick layer of spacing material (wood) which the installers fabricated. It took several install and remove tries before we got the exact fit. Basta I insisted that there will be no shaving of the metal or the plastic moldings. After we got the exact measurement, the second front door speaker was a snap to install.



A pair of DLS 226 was used for the second door speaker replacement. The spacers we used was half the thickness compared to the front seps. It's almost 'plug and play' (no trial and error).



Once the door covers were placed back, its back to stock form but with much better sound. I can place back my stock speakers anytime. HTH!
