    Mga Bro,

I don't think there is a speed limit to the 4H, the speed limit is when you lock the differential since if it is locked and driven at high speeds it may cause your tranny to overheat.

To my understanding the 4H is pretty much what you would find in most AWD vehicles as you can drive them "normally". I for one am almost always on 4H just because the rains are always here and drive them to speeds of about 130-150 no noises other than the sweet sound of the turbo whistling

Other than that...unless you have read otherwise on our manual tahtyou can't drive it at those speeds...drive on!

Oh btw, what I am sure of is that you can't shift on the fly more than 100kph. i have always shift on the fly around 50-60 tops, thats just me.

I keep on asking this question too.....When is the next EB?

    Hi,
When I use to live in Alaska and 4wd was used 6-7 months of the year. I would drive normally like I would in 2wd with no problems. Just keep up the maintenance. I normally drove Fords with shift on the fly..

But since the molding of the spoiler is not very exact (may konting spaces), they sealed it with a thin layer of silicon. Very neatly done. Tomorrow rubbing na. Lapit na matapos Monty external mods ko.

I asked them baka mahina pag walang screws, they said they do this sa mga luxury cars nila, just recently installed a spoiler sa Toureg, same method they did to my Monty. Hinayang sila butasan (which I prefer too).

I took some photos pero nasa celphone ko pa. Maybe later to post.
Sir RevD, Where is the exact location of Speed7? I prefer Spoiler attachement without screws too, That will be the first mod of my Monty after i'm back from Uruguay sometime Oct. Just had my Monty this month only.
    Thank's Mate. Cheers

oh great clarification with that sir. now that's another "plus factor"

    *tc327, ayos bro!

*Kap Felix, dude! if you're decided to get your rear spoiler from winterpine, request sonny to be your installer. maingat siya and alam ginagawa niya haha, also try to ask how's the pretty lady (with driver) with the facelifted fort from isabela-bumalik pa ba? :naughty2:

Hindi natuloy final painting and rubbing ng onty ko because of Typhoon Ondoy. Btw SSir parks, Speed 7 is along Timog (near GMA) sa QC.

How's you house and cars mga bros? I have a friend in Marikina who soaked his 2 month old Montero. Grabe!

our manual said 150kph est maybe misprinted cause i called mitsubishi citi motors makati and mitsubishi san pablo laguna they said that its not advisable to run our monty 100++ kph on 4H/AWD the tranny is designed for low gears it will overheat our tranny ....4ll..4llc 70-80kph max speed ...... unlike the evos its naturally born AWD which you can squeeze the speedo 150++kph without a problem ....

or maybe my unit has a problem .....

We ordered our 4x2 white MS under financing last week from Union Motors Mall of Asia. Dealer says 2 weeks delivery date. I back read a bit and saw some posts saying a wait time of months. Now I'm wondering if the dealer was just sales talking with that estimate. Comments?

[SIZE="3"]I have been studying reviews of the new Mitsubishi Montero 3.2 GLS SE and it seems that they have a Limited Edition which is the Ukranian Version 5 seater model that is quite unique and would seem to have good pricing at P1,700,000.

But it turns out the In-House Financing of Union Motors is 60% more expensive! The PS Bank insurance quoted to me was 10.696611% as compared to my Metrobank's Autoloan of 4.33%.

If I ask Union Motor to use my bank's Financing option, I am afraid that they might give me my vehicle after 2 months or worse give me a different quality vehicle (which would really suck). Can anybody help me with my decision? I would appreciate it. Thanks!

    Hello again mga sir....

I for one got my Monty November 2008.

And trust me that it doesn't have any sound at high and low speeds when engaged in 4H. When locking your differential however, make sure that you are at a full stop and that the front wheels are straightened first before locking anything above 4H or else it will not engage properly.

Regards to those that were affected with the floods in the metro.

Hmmm... I've got a wedding to attend in the Church near MOA. I'll be coming from QC (Timog area) with a brief stopover at Fort BGC. You think I should bring my dad's trusy 4x4 rig? My brother just came home after spending the night at Fort via EDSA, and he said that the roads are clear all the way on both lanes.

    What do you guys think?
