Exactly the type of roads here is way way inferior than there in korea. not to mention the unpredictable burst of flood and garbage so advantage in ground clearance also matters.

sorry if ill sound biased or uninitiated, but i dont even know why the sta fe, fortuner and the montero are being compared?! i mean the fortuner and the montero are trucks. SUVs.... pag tinitignan ko sta fe, it looks more like a station wagon. parang di nga sila pareho ng category in my opinion... oh well.

and i dont mind if sta fe wins sa topgear. that just means more people will buy sta fe. and that means mas konti montero sa daan. eh di mas angas monty natin :D hehehehe

Try Seatpro in Tomas Morato, QC or its other branch in Araneta Center, Cubao. The fit is as if it's upholstered leather seats (not as seat cover only). I also recently tried Seatmate for my Civic 09, and I did not like the fit as it was not as snug as the Seatpro leather seat covers for my MS and my innova. Seatpro contact info can be googled.

    Hope this helps.

No, you cannot put both of them down completely (and it's specified in the manual). I think the door cannot accomodate the whole window because of the position of the rear wheels relative to the doors.

I also have a Mazda 3 and it has a manual mode as well (Activematic). In my opinion however, the + and - position on the Mazda makes more sense i.e. higher gear (+) by pulling down and dowshift (-) by pushing up compared to the reverse setup in our Monty. Then again, I may be just used to the Mazda setup anyway.

Still I'm happy that our Monty has it even if in reality I rarely use it (sometimes I do just to see if it's still working).

with this, you don't need to remove your MID, and just replace the stock hu with the above.

if you need extra monitor at the back, you may just want to install headrest monitors. The fidelity brand grey leatherette upholstery blends aok with your grey leather seats.

the bad news....avx77 is the newest single din dvd receiver with monitor from jvc which was just launched very recent. it's quite cheap in the US, online stores, but i was surprised when i called winterpine, they quoted me 56K!!! again, not sure if other would have a better price, maybe winterpine is quoting based on what casa would charge.
    Hi Guys,

Has anyone actually tried installing this HU (JVC AVX77) on a Monty and where was it done? I was wondering if I could request for a pic just to visualize it flush on our units. Also, is it compatible with the steering remote? The lady I talked to at Winterpine cannot recall if they have already installed it on a Monty and if the steering remote works with it

Winterpine's price is still at P53k but Amazon.com however has it at $450 lang so if the feedback is ok, I may consider while a friend is in the States.

    Thanks,

Sir mic, please create a MSCP thread sa Car Club Forum ng tsikot.com so that matters pertaining to the club can be discussed there.

Let's leave this thread for the discussion about the Montero Sport.

If you need assistance please PM me. Thanks.
